MK1 Miner – Step one… you’re here! We’re on the right
track!
Good news! If you click on the items on the plate, most
all of them have names which if you do have questions
feel free to message me and we can identify the
Problem parts!
I’m making this assembly guide, ill upload… if needed
ill also reprint everything and do a special video of me
putting everything together. We’ll see if this is needed.
#1 - Miner Base - Easy step! Glue together
#2 - Save these for base computer Plate 3
#3 – Save for later Top portion on Plate 9
#4 - Need Part #2 of next plate – once you have that
you can glue these together and put on very back of
the miner base.
#1 - Spacer for the drill head – save for center drill plate 5
#2 - These are for the base miner part 4+5 on plate 1
#3 - Save for later on part 1+2 on Top portion for plate #9
#4 - Angle beam bracket – after silver bottom beams
#5 - top connectors for bottom silver beams under wire
mesh
#6 - Decoration piece for top of #5 on plate 1 – need silver
piece first
#7 - Wires for top computer – ill show later (I melt these with
lighter to bend how I want them)
#8 – Wire for top computer – again BURNED! Hence my
name – I like fire :D
#9 – Last Burning! For top portion – will detail later.
#10 – Single Drill pipe for the moveable grabber arm.
#11 – Pipes for #5 on plate 1 – glue in or don’t, up to u
#12 – Slider Pipe for top portion – need Silver from plate 7
#13 – Ladder parts
Empty space… so I added a cute dog… I think.
This one easy – I’d recommend printing overnight – takes a
while! :D
#1 - First Beam! #4 Angle Beam brackets from plate 2 goes
on top making the upright beams glued in stronger.
#2 + #3 – 2 is slightly shorter than 3 – making even on top.
#4 - these are a little shorter than #5’s they go on side
#5 – little longer than #4 – front and back
#6 – decoration pieces for base computer.
#7 + #8 – decoration pieces for the back pipe holder.
#9 – beam to hold up the center drill – I glued to drill first
before the top beam.
#10 – Decorations for the center drill. Looks nice, tedious
work, sticky fingers. Good luck pioneers!
#11 – Decoration pieces for base print.
#12 – Save for end – top of the wire connector at the very top.
#13 – I forget what this is for… I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
#1 - I would recommend if you’re going to hook up a motor
to this to maybe throw some lube in there to assist spinning.
Ha! What she said. - ADA says “grow up pioneer!”
#2 - I glued on the small angle decoration pieces, I just
manually cut the small pieces to fit in between a few of the
parts. It works. I also had a few extra just in case 1 or 2 didn’t
look the best.
#1 - Just don’t simplify it! I tried a few times to make this
better and it just wont. Looks great when done printing!
#1 - Back side of the middle tower
#2 - Front side of the middle tower
#3 - 3 and 6 are easy to mix up… ask me how I know!
3 are for the sides. The bridge between the beams!
#4 - IMPORTANT! Don’t glue #4 together without adding in
part #4 on plate 10 first. – set aside for later :D
#5 – before gluing to roof, add in the slider rods from plate 2
#6 – this is for the front – connecting beams part #2
Getting hungry? Take a break – and remember all good
pioneers send boosts to oSPARKSo :D
#1 - Brace for the catwalk and don’t jump things.
#2 - Angle braces glue where preferred.
#3 – Front of base computer – where the magic happens!
Iron ore comes out of here! – ADA said so.
#4 - I cant remember what these are, maybe u figure out and
let me know!
#1 - Left side – top (also glue on #3 + #8 from Plate 2 – burn
wire in your desired configuration.
#2 - Right side – top – I left 1 side not glued as to have
access to the middle motor compartment.
#3 – glue on part #3 from Plate 1
#4 - Angle Base holding up the drill head.
Ok good spot for this. WIRE BURNING! I used a torch lighter
and patience, only burned myself 2x… disclaimer – if you’re
under 18 ask an adult for help…
Left – This is Part #8 on
Plate 2 little less than ½ on each
side. Also acts as a handle as I
didn’t glue one of the sides in so
|
Right – This is just
|
normal filament
|
not a printed part.
|
I can get to the middle where the motor is.
Ok, if you haven’t burned down the house… lets
continue! Almost done!
