Chapter 2 Exercise
Step 1. Identify the Issue
I am considering wether or not to buy an Apple iPhone 15, with 128 gigabytes, as the
next device I will use personally. I can answer this question or decision by considering many
factors. These factors include the value, the cost, how it performs, and the value of the item long
term.
Step 2. Gather Information
An iPhone 15 comes with a 6.1 inch display, an A16 bionic chip, and a 48 megapixel
camera (Apple). Older models traditionally came with a lighting port, but, now they come with a
USB-C charging port, which I prefer (Apple). Reviews have suggested that the USB-C charging
port works better than the older version (Porter).
Step 3. Consider Possible Answers
One of the possible answers is that I should buy the iPhone due to its power and how
advanced it is compared to other phones. My other possible answer could be for me to not buy it
because of the high cost and lack of bettering from model to model.
Step 4. Evaluate the Evidence
2
The advantages to having this phone are having a phone that performs well while having
great camera quality (Apple; Porter). Although all that is nice, many people think that the price
tage is not worth it at all. Not only that, but the improvements are not always what people look
for.
Step 5. Conclusion
Based on all of the information found based on the iPhone, I will buy it. What makes it
worth it for me is the performance, the camera quality, and the reliability.
Step 6. Reflection
I consider this very valuable because I got to see why this phone is valued at what it is
valued at.
