they are not important. Please keep in mind that we teach calculus for science
and engineering, not for mathematics students.
Grading Policies:
1.
Midterm: Oct 23(Thu) 10:30 - 11:45, Final: Dec 16(Tue) 9:00 - 10:15
2.
The exam will be conducted offline.
3.
We uniformly grade based on the total scores of midterm, final exam, and webwork.
The grade percentages will be as follows: A <= 35%, B <= 75% cumulatively.
4.
Grade will be determined as follows: Midterm 40%, Final 40%, Quiz, Attendance, Homework,
etc. 20%.
5.
For homework, we will use Webwork, a free online homework system.
