History 107C Syllabus FAQs
1.​ What is the late policy?
Late assignments are not accepted. You have 1 week to complete the
assignments, which are made available on Monday, and they are due Sunday at
11:59 pm. You must complete the reading, lecture video, review questions,
primary resource worksheet, and quiz each week.
2.​ Where can I get the required textbook?
You will need to purchase the textbook. It can be purchased online as an e-book
or in physical textbook form. The textbook is sold at the Cypress College
Bookstore.
3.​ Will there be weekly Zoom meetings? If not, how can I ask the professor questions ?
No, the class is fully asynchronous and self-paced. Students can contact
Professor Mishler at kmishler@cypresscollege.edu with any questions. You can
also schedule Zoom meetings with the professor if you need further assistance.
4.​ What is the Current Events assignment?
The assignment is worth 80 points. This is a writing assignment, you will analyze
news stories that can be compared to American history. The reputable source but
be from within the past 4 months. Must be within the time period we learn about
in the class.
