Objective:
To encourage students to creatively express the importance of nutrition and wellness through
visual art.
Mechanics:
1. Open to selected students per grade level.
2. The theme must be based on the 2025 Nutrition Month and G.R.O.W. campaign.
3. Each participant must bring their own coloring materials (e.g., crayons, colored pencils,
markers, and watercolor).
4. The school will provide ¼ size illustration boards.
5. Duration: 2 hours (on-the-spot contest).
6. Entries must be original and created during the contest period.

2. Slogan Making Contest – Mechanics
Objective:
To promote critical thinking and creativity in delivering concise, powerful messages related to
nutrition.

Entries should be written on a clean short bond paper.
Only one entry per participant.

3. Essay Writing Contest (English & Filipino) – Mechanics
Objective:
To develop students’ writing skills while deepening their understanding of health and nutrition
issues.

Open to all interested students (may be divided into Junior and Senior categories).
The theme will be given on the day of the contest.
Participants may write in either English or Filipino (choose one language only).
Maximum of 500 words.
Duration: 1 hour.
Writing must be done on the spot using clean sheets of paper provided by the facilitators.
Only handwritten entries will be accepted.

4. Table Setting Competition – Mechanics
Objective:
To showcase students’ knowledge of proper table setting and presentation of nutritious meals.

Open to group participants (3–5 members per team) per class/section.
Theme: Healthy Filipino Meal Presentation.
Each group must prepare one complete table setup (utensils, tablecloth, centerpiece, etc.).
Food items used for display must be nutritious and aligned with the theme.
Each group will be given 45 minutes to set up.
All items must be safe, clean, and reusable or eco-friendly where possible.
