Business Context
LuxStay Hotels is a growing chain of 4-star hotels with 15 properties across major cities. They're
implementing a new centralized reservation system to streamline their booking operations. The
system needs to handle both direct bookings (website, mobile app, phone) and third-party
bookings (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.).
Q1. Create a Use Case Diagram for the reservation systems that includes the booking, check-in
and check-out process. (30pts)
Q2. Create Activity Diagrams for the booking, check-in and check-out processes separately. For
the booking process, your activity diagram should reflect how users from direct bookings and

Problem 2 (40pts)
The purpose of the GREEN ACRES REAL ESTATE INFORMATION SYSTEM is to assist
agents as they sell houses. When the buyer selects a house, he or she fills out a PURCHASE
AGREEMENT that is forwarded through the real estate agency to the seller, who responds with
either OFFER ACCEPTANCE or a COUNTEROFFER -- this response is also processed through
the agency. After a PURCHASE AGREEMENT has been accepted, the agency sends an
APPRAISAL REQUEST to an appraiser and notifies its finance company with a FINANCE
REQUEST. When the APPRAISAL of the value of the house and lot is completed, it is stored
with the house information.
Q3. Create a swim lane activity diagram for the purchasing process of at GREEN ACRES REAL
ESTATE. Add more details to the process as you see fit.
