Properties and Characteristics for what is paraffin
What is paraffin? Paraffin wax is popular for many reasons:
Solid at Room Temperature: It has a melting point typically between 46°C and 68°C (115°F to
154°F).
Excellent Fuel Source: It burns cleanly and efficiently, which is why it's the primary material for
candles.
Water Resistance: It is insoluble in water and an excellent moisture barrier.
Flexible and Malleable: It can be easily shaped and melted.
Odorless and Colorless: In its pure form, it has no smell or strong color, making it ideal for many
applications.
Low Chemical Reactivity: It's stable and doesn't react with many chemicals.
