BACKGROUND/OVERVIEW OF ISSUE
In many schools, the toilets are not cleaned regularly. They are sometimes clogged, smelly,
or have no toilet paper and soap. This can be harmful, especially to female students who
may get infections from sitting on or coming into contact with dirty toilet seats. Many girls
avoid using the toilets at school and may hold their urine for long periods, which can also
cause health problems.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Dirty school toilets may cause infections in female students.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
To find out if dirty school toilets are causing infections in female students.
METHODOLOGY
I used a questionnaire to collect data from 50 female students at my school. The
questionnaire was simple and easy to answer. It asked about how often the toilets are
cleaned, if students avoid using the toilets, and if they have had any infections or health
issues.
