Role of the Pathful
District Designees

Offering a holistic education to each and every child in our state.
District Designee Activities #1
• Meet with special education director and team (including
GVRA transition counselors) to determine how Pathful will be
implemented in the district
• Includes:
• Determining how students will receive their ID for Pathful
• Designation of ID keeper
• Coordination and alignment of activities (District and VR)
with transition components of the IEP
• Submitting names of teachers who will be implementing
Pathful through the Bulk Upload

District Designee Activities #2
• Attend Pathful trainings
• Provide updates to anyone who misses a session
• Gather required documentation for students to receive
access and submit to GVRA
• Submit student documents to GVRA transition counselors
• Parent permission
• IEP or Section 504 plan
• Keep running list of students submitted

District Designee Activities #3
• Follow-up with GVRA when:
• IDs are not sent
• Students are missing from the returned list of licenses
• Provide training and support for teachers implementing
Pathful
• Check in with teachers implementing
• Check consistency of usage by implementers

Pathful Explore LEA Accounts
• Special education directors designated which of the LEA
staff are their designees
• Designees have accounts in Pathful with school district
wide access.
• Teacher/educator accounts for Pathful implementation
with students using Pathful have access to students at
their assigned school.

Access Your Account
• Directors have submitted the names of the designees
• Only the director can add or remove designees
• New designees will receive an email from Pathful with
login credentials
• Login within 24 hours to prevent the password expiring

Referring Students for Pathful Accounts
(Pre-ETS)
1. GVRA receives the Parental Permission form and IEP/504 plan
for each student to create their GVRA Participant ID
2. Students should be listed on the “Bulk Upload” template and
sent to your GVRA transition liaison
3. Once cases are created, the GVRA Participant ID will be added
to the Bulk Upload form to complete it
4. Bulk upload form is then sent by GVRA to Pathful which creates
the student account
5. Pathful notifies GVRA when accounts are active
6. GVRA will notify the school contacts.

Adding Pathful Accounts for Teachers
• Bulk upload template is submitted by Designee to the GVRA
contact (role=staff, email address required)
• GVRA contact submits to Pathful (support@pathful.com and
copy mtapley@pathful.com and the point person at the
district)
• Confirmation email with ID information will be received by the
GVRA contact

Process to Become
a GVRA Client
GVRA Transition Liaison
Preparing ALL Students for Life by graduating students who are ready to learn, ready to live, and ready to lead.

GVRA Transition Liaison Process
1. GVRA receives referral (or the student is already receiving PreETS and requests to apply for VR Services)
2. The student completes a VR intake with a VR staff member and
signs an application for services (if 18 or older)
3. GVRA liaison will begin eligibility process, which includes
assignment of priority category
4. Once eligibility a needs assessment is conduct
5. Utilizing information collected during the needs assessment an
Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) will be developed,
reviewed and agreed upon by both GVRA and the client.
