Qatar currently offers 3 classes in their airplanes, First class Business class and economy class. The
First class in only in use on the A340 and it is planned to change all airplane to a 2 class configuration
( business and economy class ) on all airplanes with the exception of the Airbus A380.
In march 2012 the new business class for the 787 was launched seats are in a 1-2-1 configuration and
have 2 times the space of the current business class seats. Each seat is equipped with touch screen run
with android technology .
Qatar economy class was named the best in 2009 and 10 skytrax awards. New seats are introduced
with the launch of the 787 in 3-3-3 configuration with possibility of wifi and GSM and USB ports for
personal items.
The in-flight entertainment system from Qatar is called the Oryx entertainment system.
Tail sign of Qatar airways is the Oryx which is the national animal of Qatar and is a protective species
Also known as the Arabian Oryx or White Oryx
Qatar airways is since July 2013 the official sponsor of FC Barcelona and in April 2013 also became
the shirt sponsor of Anorthosis Famagusta´s.
On 30 October 2013 Qatar joined the one world alliance, The one world alliance includes 30 carriers
with a joined capacity of almost 10000 flights and 900 destinations on a daily basis.
On October 2009 a A340600 conducted the worlds first commercial passenger flight using a mixture
of kerosene and synthetic gas to liquid GTL fuel. The flight was from London to Doha.
The purpose was to show the possibility of synthetic fuel.
It in the interest of the Qatari government being the world´s leader in exporter of natural gas.

pitch to fly v2 until v2+10 pitch setting will be around 12deg.
