Flying insect sighting in production controlled not classified (CNC) area, the flying insect (moth) was
sighted outside L1.206 Female change room on SVP2 Level 1 entrance foyer. As per SOP009122-Pest
Control Management V5.0 pests such as crawling and flying insects, worms, and rodents sighted
must be retained in a clear plastic and labelled.
Man- The door leading outside was left slightly open not fully closed as its 2 doors that must be
aligned for door to be closed correctly to ensure no entry of pests takes place

Occarence-Low- no history.
Detection-Low- the grass hopper was seen by chance, no automated detection system in place or
routine checks.
Low risk from above, non-open product area CNC where the grasshopper was found.
Place signs at doors leading outside stating: ensure door is closed after use.
Man-The emergency release was activated and the door was left slightly open and not fully closed
as its 2 doors that must be aligned for door to be closed correctly to ensure no entry of pests takes
place.
Man- The door leading outside was left slightly open, if it had been fully closed, the insect would not
have entered.
