selves.
2.Your task is to create a frozen tableau (a living
statue or still image) that portrays a scene
demonstrating your assigned characteristic.
3.The tableau must be silent and still, lasting for
10–15 seconds.
4.After that, one or two group members will explain:
• What is happening in the tableau.
• How it reflects the assigned characteristic.
• Complete this statement
A Moral standard is ____________________
While a non-moral standard is _______________
•Moral standard is: concerned with actions that
cause significant harm or benefit to others.
•Non-moral standard is: about preferences or
conventions that do not deeply impact others'
well-being.
Example:
A moral standard is telling the truth in court to avoid
unjust punishment,
while a non-moral standard is choosing not to wear
a school uniform properly.
•Moral standard is: more important than other standards
and should be followed even when they conflict.
02
•Non-moral standard is: secondary and can be set aside
when they contradict moral duties.
Example:
A moral standard is refusing to follow an unjust law that
discriminates,
while a non-moral standard is following fashion rules even if
they contradict your values.
•Moral standard is: evaluated fairly, without bias or
favoritism.
•Non-moral standard is: can be influenced by
personal interests, preferences, or bias.
•Example:
A moral standard is treating all students fairly
regardless of background,
while a non-moral standard is giving more attention to
a student because they are your relative.
EMOTIONAL AND
PRESCRIPTIVE NATURE
Moral standard is: emotionally charged and
directs behavior by telling people what they
ought to do.
Non-moral standard is: often emotion-neutral
and does not carry moral blame or praise.
Example:A moral standard is feeling guilty for
lying, while a non-moral standard is feeling
indifferent for not following a fashion trend.
