CCS22B2 – PAPER A Instructions 1. Create a personal folder on the desktop. 2. On your desktop, locate the folder called SERVER. In the server, find a folder called CCS EXAM FILES. Copy all files from the folder CCS EXAM FILES on the SERVER and paste them into your personal folder created in point 1. Remember to copy the files out of the server folder, if you are working in the server, your work will not save. 3. Before you begin working, ensure that the region settings on the device are correct. The document uploaded on Blackboard will assist you with checking the region settings. 4. Save your work regularly! 5. All questions must be done on the computer. 6. No calculators or USB flash drives may be used. 7. Only files submitted via blackboard will be considered for marking. 8. Read all instructions carefully. 9. Activate Microsoft PowerPoint, open the file Exam - PowerPoint.PPTX (PowerPoint presentation) from the files you have saved on your device. This will be the file you are working in and submitting. Remember, DO NOT work in the server. Save your work often. 1. On the title slide: • Replace the subtitle “meeting overview” with the symbol and your UJ student email address. [1] [1] 2. Insert a new slide with a title and content layout after slide 2. 3. Working on your newly added slide 3. • Add the heading “Divisions” to the title of the slide in the font Arial Black. Add a shadow to text. [2] • Insert a Smart Art graphic horizontal picture list. [1] • Complete the graphic with the text seen below. [1] • Add images seen below to the graphic. The corresponding images can be found in the exam files. [2] • Format the graphic by applying the color Dark 2 Fill. [1] • Apply the style cartoon to the graphic. [1] 4. On Slide 2: • Animate the Organization chart using the animation fade. • Ensure that each animation level shows one at a time. [1] [1] 5. Make the following changes only to Slide 5: • Change the theme to Ion. • Change the variant to the colour Grayscale. • In the notes to slide 5, add your student number [1] [1] [1] Use the slide master to add the image Logo.png so that appears on every slide of the presentation (except the title slide). The image specifications are as follows: • The image must be adjusted to a 4cm height. Ensure the image is not distorted. [2] • Align the image to bottom right of the slide. [1] • Add a 1pt, dark blue border around the image. [1] • Ensure the image is added to the master slides for both themes. Create a custom slide show called “Hurdles” containing slides 2,3 and 5. Select the text with your email address on Slide 1 and create a hyperlink to the custom slide show Hurdles. Cell/range references must be used for all calculations (where applicable). 1. Activate Microsoft Office Excel. Open the file EXAM - EXCEL.XLSX from the files you have saved in your personal folder (NOT THE SERVER) and do the following: 2. Select worksheet INVENTORY and do the following: • • • • • 3. Select the range B1:I1 and apply the following: • Align the text to centre [1] • Change the font size to 15 [1] • Apply Bold [1] • Apply all borders [1] • Change the fill to light green [1] Use the =CONCATENATE function and cell references to combine the Item Code Letters and the Item Code Numbers in cell F2, under the heading Item Code complete. There are no spaces in between. Copy the function down for the entire range F2:F33. [3] Use a formula and cell references to calculate the Total Value on Hand for each item in the range H2:H33. Change the formatting of the range H2:H33 to Accounting, with zero decimal places. [No marks will be awarded if a formula and cell references are not used]. [3] Use the =IF function and relative cell references to insert the following in the range I2:I33: If the cost of the item is equal to or higher than R1 000, insert the text “High Value, if the cost of the item is greater than or equal to R700, insert the text “Medium Value”, if the cost of the item is less than R700, insert the text “Low Value”. [3] Select the Item Descriptions and Costs Per Item of all the various “Kids” inventory items to create a 3D Clustered Column Chart. The chart must appear on a chart sheet. The horizontal axis should display the cost. The Vertical Axis should display the amounts. [No marks will be awarded if the chart does not appear on a chart sheet] [3] • Move the chart sheet to the end and rename it to “Kids Items Chart”. [1] • Change the tab colour to Green. [1] • The Axis at the bottom should display the Item Descriptions. Change the font size of the legend to 10 and apply bold. Should you not be able to do the VLOOKUP correctly, insert the figures manually to be able to continue to the next instruction]. [3] Select the cell C11 and change the range name to Markup. [2] Use a formula, the Range Name “Markup” and cell references to calculate the Expected Selling Price for each item in the range D4:D8. You will be working in this document for your submission. Ensure that it is saved in your personal folder. Do not work on the server. Save the document regularly. 1. On the top of page 1, add the heading “Invoice Reconciliation:”. Format the heading by: • Applying the style Heading 1. • Centre aligning the heading. • Adding a 3pt, dark blue border to only the heading. [1] [1] [2] 2. Ensure your spacing is as seen in the reference image below. [1] • Add your student number as the phone number. Use the correct symbol before the phone number. [1] • All the text is aligned to the right. [1] • Insert the image Logo.png. Ensure that the image is adjusted to fit within the border. The image should not be distorted. [1] • Insert a 1½ pt, double lined border in the colour blue. [2] 6. Create a bookmark of the text Invoice Number found on page one. The bookmark should be named your surname. Next move to the text containing your student number on page 2 and create a hyperlink from your student number to the bookmark you've just created. The screen tip should be the word in “Exam”. [3] 7. Create a right aligned footer in the document containing your student number. Align the text using a 12cm decimal tab stop. [2] 8. Change the top, bottom, left and right margins of the documents to 1.3cm [1] 9. Add a centre aligned page number at the top of each page. [1] 10.
