My teammates organized information from IUB’s News & Media website, the Archived News & Media website, IUB at a glance website and IUB Facts & Figures website. We learnt so much IUB from IUB itself, as if it was telling us to look at IUB from the inside. We did not only do internal research, but also did external research. To know about IUB’s competitor BRAC, we gathered research about BRAC’s new campus from BRAC’s own website. To learn about how pressure groups like the UGC affect IUB, we analyzed the faculties of IUB approved by UGC. Our research was mainly secondary research, which is also known as secondary research, meaning information that we have put forth about the organization that we chose, IUB, had already been gathered, we just analyzed and organized it. The conclusions that we came to about the specific and general external environmental factors, SWOT analysis, critical stakeholders, major milestones and corporate level strategies that IUB has been pursuing, was easy but also challenging at the same time. Having information about IUB on IUB’s own website helped a lot for sure. Pressure groups like UGC pressurize private universities like IUB to maintain the approved faculties strictly. And IUB may not be able to have any other faculties even if it meant expanding their horizons, because the UGC might not approve. 4.Suppliers: One of the suppliers for IUB could be the suppliers for the IT equipment required for different sponsored research programme. There is a file in pdf format that can be accessed through the internet on IUB’s website. The file contains a list of terms and conditions for the suppliers, like, there will be no provision for advance payment and the payment will be made through an account payee cheque within 30 days from the date of the bill’s receipt and lastly, the bill will include a copy of work order.
