INTRODUCTION
SMART GLASSES, easily portable and also wearable computer types that bridge the
gap between the physical and digital world, these are eyewear glasses embedded
with sensors, cameras, microphones, and display enabling the wearer to view and
interact with digital information superimposed into their natural field of vision, unlike
normal glasses that either protect your eyes from the sun or help improve your vision
they offer extended functionalities beyond mere vision
BACKROUND INFORMATION AND PROBLEM
AS the 20th century progressed, the line between fiction and reality began to blur and
visionaries in the tech industry took inspiration from pop culture and embarked on
creating the first tangible versions of smart glasses. In 1968 on of the earliest
VIRTUAL REALITY systems called SWORD of DAMOCLES was created by IVAN
SUTHUERLAND its importance was to approach to immersive 3D graphics and it was
the beginning of (VR)systems and the evolution of smart glasses which were created
to bridge the gap between the physical and digital reality.
A problem we face in our everyday lives is car accidents due to drivers using their
mobile phones as they drive, which is why a new prototype of smart glasses is bound
to be created to replace the function of mobile phones being used on the roads
which create unnecessary road accidents that lead to death.
AIM OR PURPOSE
The purpose of this late edition of the prototype is to replace the functionality of cell
phones when driving. By connecting your cell phone to the prototype through
Bluetooth so that you can respond to calls or massages without even touching your
phone or getting your eyes off the road leading to road safety and reduction of
accidents and deaths on the road. Additionally, this prototype can be used
everywhere and anywhere at any time you want for all fitting purposes like taking
pictures or making calls let alone to play music or browse through the internet to
view information of your liking without having to type in anything which also benefit
those with the disability of using their hands for all they will need is their voice
because the prototype is meant to also have a voice typing keyboard
HYPOTHESIS/GOAL
The prototype should be able to take photos, make and receive calls, send and
receive massages, access the internet and connect to a cell phone, desktop, laptop or
tablet. And it should be most preferable in terms of driving for that is exactly what it
is designed for and it must also not provide pop up notifications when an individual is
driving because that might also be dangerous there for it must have a drive mode
whereby it does not provide notifications visual gives a sound alert
