Gases and Thermodynamics in Healthcare
Gases and thermodynamics are some of the important subjects taught in this subject.
These subjects highlight the interaction between gases and thermodynamics. These concepts also
tell students why gases act as they do and how energy is transferred during chemical reactions.
The chemistry of gases and their thermodynamics allows us to surmise how the temperature,
pressure, and volume will change during chemical reactions.
Gas Laws and Behavior
Gases are described by particular laws that explain the relationship between pressure,
volume, temperature, and the number of gas particles. It has been said that when heating a gas,
its volume will likely expand, especially when the pressure is constant. The kinetic molecular
theory also shows why gases are compressible and why they occupy all the space available to
them. The aforementioned relationships assist us in dealing with gases in several practical
applications (Flowers et al., 2019). These laws can help us come up with safe receptacles for the
gases and better engines as well.
Thermodynamic Principles
Thermodynamics provides knowledge about heat transfer and energy variation in
chemical processes. When these chemicals undergo a chemical reaction, they either convert heat
to their environment or absorb it. The first law of thermodynamics, also known as the
conservation of energy principle, is a simple concept that means energy cannot be created or
destroyed; it only transfers from one to another. Knowledge of these principles assists in
improving chemical processes that exist in society.

In conclusion, gases and thermodynamics are significant in several practical areas of life
and science. They assist us in developing better engine features, an effective manufacturing
strategy, and safer products involving gases. These principles continue to guide scientists in
developing new technologies for renewable energy and environmental protection.
