Theme: Growing in grace
Scripture: Titus 2:11–12 (KJV)
11. For the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men,
12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness
and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,
righteously, and godly, in this present
world;”
Exhortation
In Context: Paul was writing to Titus, a
young pastor in Crete, giving him
instructions for teaching various groups in
the church—older men and women, young
people, and even servants. The emphasis is
on living in a way that reflects the
transforming power of God's grace.
God’s grace is not just something that saves
us it also teaches us how to live. This
passage reminds us that our lives should
reflect the beauty of the Gospel Hallelujah.
It also shows that God's grace has come to
everyone through Jesus and it brings
salvation. It even informs us about what
grace does that it trains us to say no to sin
and live in a godly way in these last and
closing days of time. Bless the Lord
God’s Grace doesn’t just forgive us it also
changes us. As Isaiah 1:18 says "Though
your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white
as snow; though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool."
His grace helps us grow in how we think,
how we treat others, and how we live before
God. So saints of God I encourage you
tonight to let the grace of God do more than
just save you allow it to shape you. Say no
to the things that pull you away from God
and Say yes to living with self-control,
kindness, and devotion to Him As Romans
12:1 says "I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service."
Don’t wait for a “perfect” moment but live
for God right now, in your everyday life.
You are not alone on this journey Praise
God. The same grace that saved you is the
grace that will also grow you.
