7. Abstract:
7.1 Rationale/Background
The researcher analyzed Andrew E.'s rap songs, specifically his
popular and award-winning songs, Banyo Queen, Binibi Rocha, Clubzilla,
Cowboy-Cowgirl, and Humanap ka ng Panget, to understand the lyrics,
metaphors, persona, and subjects, as well as the use of sexual
undertones. The study used the sexual intent theory, which includes
sexual intention, romantic intention, and flirting intention, to analyze the
lyrics and the undertones used in the selected songs. The aim was to
provide a comprehensive understanding of the sexual themes, sexual
intention and the similarities and differences of sexual undertones in
Andrew E.'s music.
7.2 Summary
The major purpose of this study is to analyze themes and patterns of
selected songs of Andrew E. by using the concept theory of sexual intent by
Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and Hendershot.
iv
Specifically, the proposed study aims to answer the following
questions:
1. What are the metaphors, subject, and persona that presented
sexual themes in lyrics of selected Andrew E. songs?
2. What are the sexual undertones in the lyrics that presented the
use of romantic, flirting, and sexual intention by Lindgren, Parkhill,
George, and Hendershot?
3. What are the sexual undertones similarities and differences
through the following songs?
To achieve study goals, the researcher used descriptive qualitative
research. This is crucial as the lyrics is the researcher's only data source. The
researcher employed Sexual Intent Theory by Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and
Hendershot to analyze sexual undertones and sexual intentions on the
selected rap song lyrics of Andrew E.
7.3 Major Findings
This research study the five popular and award-winning songs of
Andrew E. the songs contained sexual themes- mostly about sexual
intercourse with women, about the artist career and love advice. The
researcher found out that most of the songs revolve around the theme of a
man who met a woman in a bar and have sexual intercourse. The persona on
all the songs is the writer himself, which makes the songs to have more
detailed lyrics. The persona characterized as an opportunist and pervert man
that only wanted woman’s attention and body. Out of five songs the three of
the song’s subjects are women, mostly a beautiful woman that described
sexually and objectified in the song. It was characterized as a careless
woman, a woman that needs attention, and a woman that looking for lust on
night clubs.
The researcher also found out that the most sexual intent level that is
identified in the song lyrics was sexual intent level 5 and level 3. Level 5
sexual intention refers to a specific sort of sexual intention where both the
participants and the target of the intention engage in activities linked to
sexuality or sexual intimacy. Banyo Queen and Binibi Rocha are the songs
that emphasized most of the level 5 sexual intention as the lyrics described
the sexual interaction of both persona and subject of the song. Apart from
sexual intention the researcher also seen in the lyrics the romantic and flirting
intention.
v
Finally, out of the five songs that the researcher analyzed the three of
the songs have sexual undertones that were hidden within the lyrics and the
other two songs are for the artist’s successful career in rap song industry and
love advice to people. The songs were evident to be considered in having
sexual undertone, through the use of metaphors, persona, and subject to
hide the true meaning of the songs and to creatively deliver its own message.
7.4 Conclusions
Following a careful analysis of the data using sexual intent theory, the
researcher landed at the following conclusions:
1. The implications of metaphors in the lyrics of the songs represent
clearly the implicit sexual themes of Andrew E’s music.
2. The majority of sexual intentions classified pertain to the sexual
behaviors depicted by the characters within the lyrics, exhibiting the
correlation between Level 3 and Level 5 sexual intentions.
3. Banyo Queen, Binibi Rocha, Cowboy-Cowgirl established similarities
of sexual undertone while the other two songs Clubzilla and Humanap Ka Ng
Panget established a different theme about career and love advice.
7.5 Recommendations
The researcher proposes numerous recommendations to expand the
scope and application of the study based on the findings related to Andrew
E.'s songs.
1. The researcher suggests future researchers to study other rap
songs using the same theory.
2. Future researcher may use different literary theory on stylistics to
capture the aesthetics of the lyrics such as other literary devices.
3. It is recommended to use other literary works like novels and
movies to explore the sexual undertones using the sexual intent theory.

INTRODUCTION
Rationale of the Study
Rap, jazz, rock, and heavy metal music are types of popular culture that
connect to media with negative effect, they are frequently publicly accused of
or connected to violence and sexism. (Ferguson & Kilburn, 2019).
According to Clark, Shannon, and Giacomantonio (2015), everyday music
tends to have a significant impact on how adolescents think, act, and identify
themselves. One of the most distinctive and controversial music genres that
emerged from the past few years is rap music. It becomes a significant
component of “hip-hop” culture that discusses standards and experience of
people who are living in a different situation, from racial stereotyping to the
struggle for survival in dangerous environments.
In the essay of Study Moose author claim that rap like various other kinds
of art, has a strong message against racism, oppression, and violence that
draws attention to the plight of urban dwellers. Some rap music’s are racist,
sexist, and celebrates violence. Rap music that expresses male aggression
toward women serves as a reminder of male aggression and the unfavorable
views that many men have of women.
Introduction
2
In the study of Content Analysis of Six Different Genres of Media by
Pardun, L'Engle, and Brown (2015). They found that music has higher sexual
content it has (40%) sexual themes than movies only have (12%), television
(11%), magazines (8%) and websites on the internet (6%) and newspapers
(1%). Music was more likely to emphasize sexual references, sexual
encounters, and breakups than other forms of media.
In the journal entitled Women as Sex Objects and Victims in Print
Advertisements. Sex Roles: A study by Stankiewicz and Rosselli (2018) states
that popular American hip-hop and rap artists like Eminem, Ludacris, and Ja
Rule have propagated the notion that "submission is a desirable attribute in a
woman," which has increased the portrayal of women as targets of violence
or subjects of male authority in rap music.
In the article from Kimberly Johnson, Christine Markham, and Susan R.
Tortolero's (2017) entitled “Considerations for Culturally Responsive Sexual
Consent Education in High School Based on Thematic Analysis of Mainstream
Rap Music”, In their study, 244 songs were analyzed to understand the
themes of each song. The data came from the Billboard Top 25 Rap Music
Hits from 2001 to 2011 every year, the top 25 rap songs featured some form
of sexual content in an average of 18 tracks. According to the result of their
study rap music were references to sex, sexual expectations, and/or
relationships in almost 74% of the 244 songs. There was a lot of sexual

content in the songs in the sample. They used Sexual Script Theory's idea of
cultural settings to code lyrics. Sexual scripts are taught interactions that take
place before sexual experiences. Adolescents learn scripts from many
sources, including their parents, religion, peers, and the media. Rap music in
particular is a significant source of sexual scripting, due to its cultural
importance and prominence in the lives of some adolescents.
The Godfather of Pinoy Rap is Andrew Ford Valentino Espiritu also known
as Andrew E is a well-known rapper, comedian, and actor from the
Philippines. (E is for his last name Espiritu). For his contributions to the music
and entertainment industries, Andrew E has won numerous awards.
Additionally, he was nominated for an Awit Award in 2008 for Best Novelty
Recording for the song "Cowboy-Cowgirl." Andrew E. songs was attack by
critics a lot of critics claimed that Andrew E. songs have sexual content, and
the songs of Andrew are just his sexual experienced.
In the beginning of his career, Andrew E worked as a DJ at the wellknown club Euphoria. RJ Jacinto first seen him back in 1991. He appeared in
'That's Entertainment,' a well-liked program that aired on the GMA-7 station.
In real life, legendary German Moreno hosted the program. He made his
recording debut in 1990 with the single "Humanap Ka Ng Panget," for which
he received a lot of praises.
Introduction
4
Due to the success of his songs, Andrew E started to appear in comedy
movies. He eventually rose to stardom as an actor. He established his very
own rap label, Dongalu Wreckords, in 1997. The Salbakuta rap group is one
of the many other rap artists who came to prominence because to this rap
label. Additionally, their song "S2upid Luv" rose to become one of the most
popular in the area. A comedy film called "Raketeros" was released in 2013 to
celebrate ABS-CBN Film Productions' 20th anniversary. It was Andrew E's first
appearance in Star Cinema. Aside from that, this movie was a huge success
right away, getting a lot of praise and favorable reviews. Because of his wellknown tracks, Andrew E has a large number of YouTube subscribers. In
reality, his important contributions to the entertainment and music industries
have put him in the public eye.
Upon conducting an in-depth study of rap music, the researcher
discovered a lot of studies exploring various themes in rap songs. These
studies typically focus on topics such as sexism, racism, life experiences, and
explicit sexual content. However, the researcher discovered a significant gap
in the existing literature that there are no studies specifically analyzing the
sexual intent conveyed through rap song lyrics. Moreover, previous studies
conducted does not concentrate on the works of specific artists.
Additionally, the researcher found an absence of studies that delve into
the sexual undertones in rap lyrics, particularly those that emphasize the use

of metaphors, personas, and the overall subject matter of the songs. This gap
indicates a need for future research to explore how sexual intent is expressed
through these literary devices in rap music.
Therefore, the researcher analyzed the rap songs of Andrew E concerning
the lyrics itself, the metaphors, persona and subjects and how sexual
undertones are presented in rap songs. The researcher studied the popular
and award-winning songs of Andrew E. which are: Banyo Queen (1999),
Binibi Rocha (1990), Clubzilla (2010), Cowboy-Cowgirl (2004), and Humanap
ka ng Panget (1990). This research focused on finding the metaphors,
persona, subjects on lyrics of the selected rap songs. As well as the used of
sexual undertones of the selected rap songs of Andrew E. This research
applied the sexual intent theory by Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and
Hendershot, sexual intent includes a sexual intention, romantic intention, and
flirting intention.

Literature Review
The researcher gathered a number of studies, articles, and journals that
were all focused on the idea of rap music themes across the world and how rap
music was presented through the concept of sexual intent.
Effects of Media in Gender
In the article from Springer Science + Business Media, entitled Impact of
Sexualized Lyrics on Adolescent Behaviors and Attitudes (2015). The writers
examined the effects of exposure to sexualized lyrics in music on the behaviors
and attitudes of adolescents. The writers found out that that not all sexual
references are created equal, and that insulting and sexualized music may
adversely impact teenagers. This can cause girls in particular to simply value
themselves sexually, which can result in poor body image, depression, eating
disorders, and substance addiction.
In the study of Adams and Fuller (2016) they analyzed the prevalence and
persistence of misogynistic themes in rap music lyrics over time. The study likely
seeks to analyze the content of popular rap songs from 1990 to 2015 to
understand how representations of women in rap music have evolved or
remained consistent over that period. By examining changes in lyrical content
and themes, they aim to provide insights into the ideological underpinnings of
rap music and its implications for gender relations and attitudes toward women
Introduction

in society. Adams and Fuller (2016) found out that rap artists abuse women in
their lyrics by employing connotational words like "hoe" and "bitch." Rap music
portrays women as objects that are solely good for sex. This study provides
details on the rap music's topics and their potential effects on various genders.
Moreover, Santoniccolo et. al (2023) examined the various ways in which
gender is represented in media, including television, film, advertising, and digital
platforms. They found that the significance of media representations as an
essential aspect of sociocultural influences that may have an impact on
wellbeing. Exposure to sexist, violent, and sexualized portrayals has been shown
to have a harmful impact on one's physical and mental health as well as to
promote sexism and gender inequality. The study recommends that
implementing advancement institutional and policies aiming to decreasing sexiest
songs, as well as organizational changes, could be implemented. It may also
operate as a line of defense against physical and mental health threats.
Gaal (2020) states that women have frequently been portrayed as
"helpless" or in need of a man in media, such as film, television, YouTube, or
streaming services like Netflix. In the media, male characters are shown to be
aggressive in their pursuit of the women they desire in both contemporary films
and television programs, as well as in shows from decades past.
Rap music offers a field of study that demonstrates a broad range of
messages and their potential for good or bad impact on listeners, the study of

Reza (2018) aimed to investigate the societal themes in rap music. Reza states
that understanding the issues of race, gender, and class that were communicated
through rap music has made it evident how rap music affects how people create
their identities. Through the perspective of a self-identified black male living in a
predominantly white world, Kanye West's lyrics offer a rousing perspective and
communicate messages that erase racial and societal biases. Although West's
music tackled racial stereotypes, dealing with racism, and societal injustices, the
author admitted that some music of Kanye West include inaccurate
representations of women. Stereotypical gender roles that aimed to dominate
sexually started to emerge when songs contained sexual imagery and depicted
women as objects of desire while men were the ones in them. Reza (2018)
conclude that the inclusion of those songs is a mirror of American culture since
women are portrayed as openly sexual and gold-diggers.
The media has the power to influence how people perceive romance, sex,
dating, and what is "ideal" in society, according to Durgesh, Singh Pooja, and
Singh Pranjali's (2018) examined how the sexual objectification of women is
represented and perpetuated in Hindi films and its broader implications for
society and culture. They conclude that the way that society views sexuality
shapes that society's attitudes, which has an impact on all social groups. This
action was permitted because the public has demonstrated a desire for the
objectification of women in entertainment media. From the given information,
Introduction

the researcher sees that media have shape the image of women and their roles
to society this will help the researcher to justify more its objectives.
A study by Ali (2017) examined and analyzed the portrayal of women in
television advertisements in Pakistan, specifically focusing on instances of sexual
objectification. Ali concluded that women are portrayed in television advertising
as weak, helpless, submissive, and other roles that promote inequality and
gender discrimination in our society. Being in charge of modifying attitudes and
beliefs, media has the power to influence and steer people’s thoughts in favor of
constructive, beneficial efforts to combat discrimination and gender inequality.
The study was only limited in seven television channels in Pakistan the author
recommends studying a wider data for much greater result.
Not only in television where women have been sexualized in the study of
Hollett et al. (2020) aimed to contribute to a better understanding of how female
characters in adult-only video games are visually consumed and perceived by
players, with a specific focus on the phenomenon of sexual objectification and its
implications for both male and female audiences. The study discovered that
typical female characters in adult-only games do lead both men and women to
be sexually objectified. This study shows that both male and female video game
characters have been sexually abused, and that practically all forms of media
contain sexually explicit content.

Themes and Effects of Rap/ Popular Music
The 2020 essay entitled "Philippine Music: Legitimizing Sexism and
Misogyny in Rap," sexist Rap has been recognized and allowed to thrive, bringing
in money for some musicians and the music business. Some musicians may not
personally agree with the messages in their lyrics, yet they nonetheless use them
to acquire popularity, popularity, and large amounts of sales. This essay
concludes that artists write for fame and that misogyny in music is common in
young people nowadays.
Gaal (2020), examined the impact and consequences of sexual
harassment and assault within the entertainment industry. The result of the
study stated that women have been sexualized and objectified in music in more
ways than television and movies. Women's bodies have been used as sexual
objects in various genres around the world, and the industry has encouraged
this. Rap and hip-hop lyrics frequently include slang, vulgarity, and other
offensive terminology to inappropriately depict women.
In the study by Gray (2019), listening to misogynistic music increased
violence against women. Given that musicians often use antagonistic themes in
their lyrics toward males, this can also normalize violence committed by other
men against men. Through conducting a music genre content analysis study and
examining the five sexist themes: sexual insults, objectification, and sexual
harassment. The results include aggressive behavior, images of violence, and

manipulation suggest that rape culture is prevalent in numerous musical genres,
rap and hip-hop had the highest frequency of sexist themes. The research
revealed that male artists not only in the rap/hip-hop genre, but in almost every
popular music genre observed. Female subjects are more likely to be targeted by
misogynistic themes in lyrics.
A pragmatic study journal by Cita Mustika Kusumah's (2019) used the
descriptive qualitative method to examine the songs. The researcher found the
information online. The focus of qualitative research, which is descriptive in
nature, is on how meaning, process, and comprehension are acquired through
the use of words and images. This study will help the researcher to choose an
appropriate method for this study.
Before elaborating on and analyzing the data, Pandiangan and Daniela
(2023) recommended using descriptive qualitative data to perform an inductive
analysis of the songs to identify any recurring themes, patterns, or ideas.
Yasaman Madanika and Kim Baratholomew (2014) examined themes
related to lust, the expression of sexual desire, and love, the expression of
romantic desire, in the lyrics of the 40 most popular songs over the past 40 years
for their study. The lyrics of the full sample of songs contained 62% of lyrics with
a love theme and 39% of lyrics with a lust theme, making love themes
particularly common than lust themes. This, study presents as evidence that the
themes of popular music are about love.
Introduction
12
Rap/hip-hop, more than any other genre, has lyrics that are sexual and
hostile toward female subjects, according to a study by Kistler et al. (2017). The
research demonstrates that more sexist views against women are presented to
listeners of rap/hip-hop music than listeners of any other genre. This reinforces
the notion of rape culture. Rap and hip-hop are the most popular musical genres,
hence misogynistic lyrics are increasingly common. Teenagers may find this
particularly troubling because their own views and behaviors are heavily
influenced by media sources, such as music tastes.
In the study of Kathrin Karsay and Jörg Matthes (2020) their findings have
important societal repercussions. Their results are alarming considering the
pervasiveness of sexualized media in general and sexual objectification in pop
music videos in particular. According to their research, the use of sexually
objectifying music videos may have an increasing effect: exposure to such films
raises young women's self-objectification, which raises their preference for
similar media. We believe that this greatly expands the body of knowledge on
self-objectification. These effects had nothing to do with female traits or
qualities. Young ladies should be shielded from the possibly negative effects of
such sexual behavior. The author suggest that future research should use
correlational designs to assess prior exposure to objectifying videos before
measuring eye behavior, which could suggest long-term impacts. Finally, in future
studies, researchers should examine the function of putative mediators such as
Introduction
13
self-objectification, social comparisons, and sexual arousal in order to uncover
alternate hypotheses. Replications with other objectifying media (for example,
ads) are also required.
Sexism in Popular Music
The research paper by Jones and Deflem (2022) sheds light on a
problematic component of country music: the lyrics of many of country music hit
songs actively encourage sexism and gender inequity.
Jones and Deflem also added that it was anticipated that many country
songs, even now, would be characterized by misogyny and stereotypical
masculinity. The extreme level of antagonistic misogyny can be seen in modern
country music. Women can still be labelled, made out to be just good for sex or
a man's pleasure, and even shown to be stupid or irrational in many modern
country songs. This paper serves as evidence that music contains sexual themes,
this will help the researcher to emphasize more its objectives and gain
knowledge about the sexual themes in music.
From the study of Benton (2015) investigate the prevalence of
misogynistic themes in popular music videos on YouTube, with a specific focus on
differences between pop and hip hop/rap genres and the gender of the artists.
The research conclude that rap/hip hop videos present a higher misogyny theme
than other pop music videos. Male hip hop artist music videos show a numerous
Introduction
14
rate of misogynistic themes than female artist. The author suggest that future
study may examine the effects of race, as race certainly impacts engagement
with prevailing masculinity and maybe opposing notions of femininity, as opposed
to the research's primary focus on gender. In accordance with this work Kayla
Gray (2019) states in her work entitled Evidence of Rape Culture in Modern,
states that in all the genres of pop music, hip hop/ rap music contains lyrics and
themes that does aggressive and sexual nature towards female subjects more
than male.
In the study of Bettia, Abratec, and Kaltenbrunner (2023) authors used
WASABI database, the WASABI database is a digital source that has information
on 77,500 artists, 200,000 albums, and over two million songs. The authors
searched the database for all solo artists and ensembles that have published
more than ten songs and collected all of their English song lyrics from 1960 to
2009. The authors wanted to show how sexist content in music changes over five
decades, from 1960 to 2010, and how much linguistic bias exists in word
embeddings learnt from the song lyrics corpus. Their study presented the artist
gender and type, reveals that popular song lyrics by male solo musicians have
become more sexist over time, although this pattern is less visible in the other
categories of artists. Independent of the gender of the performer, the genres
with the highest proportion of songs containing sexist content include hip hop,
R&B, and soul. In terms of language biases, the authors found out that male solo
Introduction
15
artists' songs contain higher gender bias than female solo artists' lyrics. This
literary works helped the researcher to prove that sexism in rap songs is still
relevant to be studied.
To conclude this literature review, there is indeed an existing research gap
in studies about the undertones in rap songs. There are a lot of data about the
themes and lyrics of rap songs throughout the years but what makes this study
different from the previous research studies is the look for the undertone through
the concept of Sexual Intent by Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and Hendershot in
selected rap songs. All the related studies have presented different findings from
what the researcher of this study is trying to prove. Additionally, the authors of
these related studies have analyzed songs from a certain year, but none of them
looked at a certain artist specifically a Filipino artist through the lens of Sexual
Intent by Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and Hendershot.
Theoretical Framework
In this study the researcher employed the theory of Sexual Intent by
Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and Hendershot to further analyze and explain the
sexual undertones in selected songs of Andrew E. Gender, according to Laurel
Wamsely, is frequently described as a social construct made up of conventions,
behaviors, and roles that varies over time and between countries. Frequently,
gender is classified as male, female, or nonbinary. In the theory of Lindgren,
Introduction

Parkhill, George, and Hendershot constructs sexual intention, romantic intention,
and flirting intention.
Romantic intentions, as defined and operationalized in the interpersonal
relationship literature, center on perceptions of another person’s interest in
pursuing a romantic or intimate relationship. Flirting intention consists of specific,
overt behaviors (e.g., complimenting, hair tossing, making eye contact) that may
or may not indicate sexual intentions. In sexual intention they define it as a
sexual interest, it has five different levels, level one is the lowest and level five is
the highest. Their goal is to define sexual intent as assessment of a person’s
own intentions toward another and it different levels and the influences that
affect one intention.
Sexual intention and how we perceive it are unique in social interactions.
They focus on the desire for sexual activity, which can happen inside or outside
of romantic relationships. This distinction is important because it separates the
idea of wanting sex from wanting a romantic partner. Furthermore, focusing on a
person's subjective feelings (thoughts and emotions) helps distinguish their
actual interest in sex from their physical arousal.
There are five different levels of sexual intention Lindgren et. al (2008)
established five different levels of sexual intention based on their study.
Assessments of sexual intent perceptions usually involve rating scales designed
to gauge various aspects. Level 1 the degree to which the target possesses or
Introduction
17
expresses particular dispositional traits which the interactant are being sexy or
friendly towards the target. Level 2 is the degree to which the target exhibits
particular behaviors like touching and making eye contact to interactant. Level 3
is considered to be the target’s intent, willingness, or likelihood to engage in
particular behaviors of the target to have intercourse between the interactant.
And Level 4 the interactant’s interest towards the target that consists of being
sexual and friendly. Lastly Level 5 sexual intent is the nature of the relationship
between targets or interactants they both wanted a deeper connection, being
sexual to each other, and having a romantic relationship.
The researcher used this theory to emphasize the main objectives of this

songs of Andrew E. The theory explained how Andrew E. selected songs
containing sexual themes through metaphors, persona, and subject. The theory

song. The theory also helped how Andrew E used different and similar
undertones on each rap song. In poetry metaphors are a figure of speech that is
used to identify two unrelated words or phrases that symbolize another meaning.
Persona in poetry is a character assumed by an author/artist in any type of
literary work. And the subject is a person/ characters that is being discussed or
described. The theory helped to underlie all the data collected by the researcher
and support all the discussions that the researcher stands.

Conceptual Framework
The Input-Process-Output (IPO) model was used as the structural
technique by the researcher to determine the objectives of this study. As can be
observed from the input context, the researcher obtained the materials and data
flow needed for the study from the chosen selected rap songs lyrics of Andrew E.
which are Banyo Queen (1999), Binibi Rocha (1990), Clubzilla (2010), CowboyCowgirl (2004), and Humanap ka ng Panget (1990). In the selected songs the
researcher identified sexual themes by using the metaphors, persona, and
subject through the lyrics of the songs. In the process of analyzing the songs the
sexual intent theory was applied, it focused on how Andrew E. selected rap

This chapter presents the research materials and methodologies that the
researcher used in conducting this study. It includes the research design, the
sampling procedure, and the data-gathering technique.
Research Design
This study used a Descriptive-Qualitative method of research to identify,
analyze, and discuss the selected rap songs.
"Qualitative research seeks to explore and provide a deeper knowledge of
topics that are present in the real world. In contrast to quantitative research, it
does not involve the collection of statistical data points, intervention, or the
application of remedies. In qualitative research, participant observations,
opinions, and behaviors are compiled. It addresses the 'how' and 'why' rather
than the quantity or the number. Tenny, S.; Brannan, J.; Brannan, G. (2022)

researcher used the theory of sexual intent by Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and
Hendershot to examine, assess, and analyze the data.
The first objective of the study was to identify the sexual themes that are
presented in lyrics. To accomplish this, the researcher examined the lyrics of the
songs and determined the metaphors, persona and subject that are used in each
song. The researcher only included the lyrics that have underlying meanings or
the lyrics that presents undertone. The researcher excluded the lyrics that
presents obvious meaning. Thus, the researcher was able to identify the theme
of each selected rap songs of Andrew E.
The second objective of the study was to identify the different levels of
sexual intention used in rap songs. To accomplish this, the researcher used lyrics
from the songs and Sexual Intent theory by Lindgren, Parkhill, George, and
Hendershot to label them. There are five different levels of sexual intention
Lindgren et. al (2008) established five different levels of sexual intention based
on their study. Assessments of sexual intent perceptions usually involve rating
scales designed to gauge various aspects. Level 1 the degree to which the target
possesses or expresses particular dispositional traits which the interactant are
being sexy or friendly towards the target. Level 2 is the degree to which the
target exhibits particular behaviors like touching and making eye contact with an
interactant. Level 3 is considered to be the target’s intent, willingness, or
likelihood to engage in particular behaviors of the target to have intercourse

between the interactant. And Level 4 the interactant’s interest towards the target
that consists of being sexual and friendly. Lastly Level 5 sexual intent is the
nature of the relationship between targets or interactants they both wanted a
deeper connection, being sexual to each other, and having a romantic
relationship. This made it possible for the researcher to comprehend what
sexual intentions are presented in each rap song. The researcher was able to
learn more about the different sexual intention that are presented in the song
using the Sexual Intent theory of Parkhill, Lindgren, George, and Hendershot
The final objective of the study was to discuss and establish the sexual
undertones similarities and differences throughout the chosen rap songs. To
accomplish this, the researcher interpreted, understand, and analyzed the data
to discuss what are the similar and different undertones used by Andrew E on
the lyrics of his selected rap songs. Thus, the researcher was able to
comprehend the sexual undertones similarities and differences throughout the
selected rap songs of Andrew E.
Ethical Consideration
The study was not conducted in the field, nor was it required for
respondents to engage with each other to collect information and data. Instead,
this study is an account that emphasizes the themes and undertones that
presented in the selected rap songs. To uphold research ethics, the researcher

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
This chapter presents the results and discussion of the research study. In
accordance with this, this chapter analyzes and interprets these findings,
subsequently providing conclusions and recommendations. Using study that
focused specifically on popular and award-winning songs of Andrew E. which are:
Banyo Queen (1999), Binibi Rocha (1990), Clubzilla (2010), Cowboy-Cowgirl
(2004), and Humanap ka ng Panget (1990) using the concept of Lindgren,
Parkhill, George, and Hendershot, the sexual intent (2008). Furthermore, this
chapter provides a descriptive response to the three problems concerning the
sexual themes, sexual intent, and sexual undertone that are presented in lyrics
of each song.
Presentation, Analysis, and Interpretation of Data
The data has been thoroughly evaluated and interpreted in a manner that
aligns with the objectives of the study, thereby addressing the research topic.
A. SEXUAL THEMES
This part of the research includes the presentation and discussion of
metaphors, persona, and subject that are identified by the researcher in the
lyrics of each song that contained sexual themes.
Results and Discussions

1.Metaphors
a. Banyo Queen
The song Banyo Queen was all about the man and woman who met in the
bar it revolves around the sexual interaction of both characters of the song.
The researcher identified the metaphors that correlates the song sexual
themes.
“Upang 'di mahalata, siya ay nagpayabang
Nag-me-meneshatoua daw siya sa Alabang”
The meneshatauo means in English term is an arrangement in which three
people share a sexual relationship. This word is a representation of the whole
meaning of the song as it was revealed at the end. This also proved that Banyo
Queen presented sexual theme by using the word meneshatauo.
“Ang puting kumot, pilit hinahabulot
Likod ko'y namumula sa kakakalmot
No'n siya ay umuungol at umuungos
Siya'y init na init sa aking haplos
Pinagbigyan ko siya sa kanyang hiling
Ang gusto niya, "Yung ganito, yung gumigiling"
Oh, magdamag nagpuyat hanggang mag-umaga
These lyrics presented the context of having sex with the subject and
persona as the lyrics described the happenings between both characters in
the song. The fourth verse of the lyrics presented how the persona and
subject become sexual and wild. As the persona described the details of their

sexual intercourse by using terminologies about their actions it may not be
directly vulgar as it was pertaining to sexual intercourse however because of
choice of words that correlates the conceptions of sexual intercourse to lyrics
Banyo Queen by Andrew theme is obviously sexual and focusses on having
sexual intercourse. 2020 essay entitled "Philippine Music: Legitimizing Sexism
and Misogyny in Rap," sexist Rap has been recognized and allowed to thrive,
bringing in money for some musicians and the music business. Some
musicians may not personally agree with the messages in their lyrics, yet they
nonetheless use them to acquire popularity, popularity, and large amounts of
sales. This essay concludes that artists write for fame and that misogyny in
music is common in young people nowadays. Banyo Queen is one of the
songs that make Andrew E to be more popular, Banyo Queen becomes the
soundtrack of the movie Banyo Queen in 2001. Until now Banyo Queen was
still popular especially in social media sites like TikTok, despite of the sexual
themes of the song. People were still hooked up because of the lyrics and
beat of the song and ignored the sexual themes behind the lyrics.
b. Cowboy-Cowgirl
Cowboy-Cowgirl is all about a song that is intended for horse racing. This
song is for people who like horse racing. As the persona claims in the

At the first look of the lyrics, it was just all about horse racing however if
you will used critical thinking and analysis, it was all about sexual intercourse.
The horse represents the man and woman private parts. The lyrics of the
song described the sexual desire of the persona of the song through its
subject. As he relates the private parts through horse racing competition.
That if the subject joins him in horse racing together with her horse (vagina)
the subject will win. The persona was pertaining and flexing about his own
abilities in bed as he trying to convince the subject to join him in sexual
intercourse. It makes the song have sexual themes because of the metaphors
that were used in the song. As the persona describes what he will do to the
subject if they have sexual relationship. Kayla Gray (2019) states in her work

c. Binibi Rocha
Binibi Rocha started when the persona met the subject in the bar.
The song is all about a man who admired a woman for being beautiful
and having a sexy body that was desirable and sexually attracting men.
“Sumakay sa kanyang Pajero
Sa Pajero pa lang ramdam ko na
Init ng kanyang haplos ay aking damang dama
Oh ang lamig sa pajero ngunit siyay hot na hot
Gilid ng aking tenga pilit nyang kinakagat
At sa tulong ng kanyang labi ako ay kiniliti
Kinuha aking kamay, inilagay sa kanyang binti
Para bang mauubusan siya'y nagmamadali
Pumatong sya sa akin at siya'y napangiti”
The lyrics presented how the persona wanted the subject. As he describes
the features of the girl and how badly wanted the persona to have sexual
relationship with the subject. The persona describes in the lyrics how badly
he wanted to have sexual intercourse with the girl. At the end of the song the
persona revealed the details that happened between the two of them and
how they had sexual intercourse inside the car. The song contained sexual
themes as the lyrics described the actions of both of the characters of the
song. Yasaman Madanika and Kim Baratholomew (2014) examined themes
related to lust, the expression of sexual desire, and love, the expression of

romantic desire, in the lyrics of the 40 most popular songs over the past 40
years for their study. The lyrics of the full sample of songs contained 62% of
lyrics with a love theme and 39% of lyrics with a lust theme, making love
themes particularly common than lust themes. This study presents as
evidence that the themes of popular music are about love. Binibi Rocha is a
song that was all about admiring a beautiful lady as it was presented at the
beginning. However, subject/woman was described at the end as submissive
to men. According to Gaal (2020) women have frequently been portrayed as
"helpless" or in need of a man in media, such as film, television, YouTube, or
streaming services like Netflix. In the media, male characters are shown to be
aggressive in their pursuit of the women they desire in both contemporary
films and television programs, as well as in shows from decades past.

Out of the five songs by Andrew E all the persona is the writer itself/
narrator. This makes the song to be more expressive on the side of the
writer. It gives him freedom to tell all the things and ideas he wanted. In
the journal entitled Women as Sex Objects and Victims In Print

popular American hip-hop and rap artists like Eminem, Ludacris, and Ja
Rule have propagated the notion that "submission is a desirable attribute
in a woman," which has increased the portrayal of women as targets of
violence or subjects of male authority in rap music.
Over the five songs of Andrew E. four of his songs subject is women.

This part of the research includes the presentation and discussion of
sexual intention levels, the romantic and flirting intention that are identified in
each lyric of the songs.
A. BANYO QUEEN
Banyo Queen, Verse 1
This verse presents how the persona wanted to have a relationship with
the subject as he sexualizes the subject by mentioning his intentions in the
woman’s body.

dispositional traits like being friendly. It was evident from the lyrics that the
subject and persona was friendly and sexy.
Banyo Queen, Verse 2
This presented that the subject also wanted to have a sexual intercourse
with the persona, although she does not know the man personally, she just
knows that the man is famous, and the persona is a rapper.

As the subject make the man to loss his consciousness and took it into a

The lyrics served as an explanation how the subject creates and grabbed the
opportunity to take advantage of the situation and to have sexual intercourse
with the persona.

This presented that the subject also wanted to have a sexual

As stated by Lindgren et. al. (2008) when people are exposed to mild
or unconscious alcohol cues, it can alter their perceptions and judgments,
particularly in social and potentially sexual contexts. The chorus presented
the details that happened between the subject and the persona. This
explained that alcohol is one of the influences that make an individual to have
sexual intentions toward another and it was considered as a level 5 sexual
intention which the interactants and targets shared sexual relationship.

the way he describes the subject as a Banyo Queen, as the Banyo Queen means
that the subject was a prostitute.

The lyrics were evident to have sexual intent, both persona and
subject are willingly giving their body to each other it was considered as a
sexual intent level 5 as the nature of the relationship between targets or
interactants is sexual. (Lindgren et. al., 2008).
Banyo Queen clearly suggest that both persona and subject have
sexual interest to each other. (Lindgren et. al., 2008). Their findings indicated
that as the number of consensual sexual experiences and dating experiences
increased for men, so did the frequency of their reported misperceptions of a
woman's sexual intentions also increases. In other words, men who had more
past experiences in consensual sexual encounters and dating scenarios were
more likely to misinterpret a woman's intentions as sexual when they were
not.

This suggests that men's past experiences in intimate and dating
contexts may shape their perceptions of women's behaviors and cues,
potentially leading to misunderstandings or misinterpretations of a woman's
intentions. These findings highlight the importance of considering individuals'
personal experiences and backgrounds when examining their perceptions and
behaviors in social interactions, particularly in the context of sexual
intentions.
Lingren et. al. (2008) suggests that both men and women may
reflexively activate sexual interpretations, but men tend to do so more
quickly. Using the Implicit Association Test (IAT), which measures the
strength of mental associations, men were found to associate female targets
with sexual words more rapidly than with friendly words compared to women
These findings imply that both men and women may have a tendency
to associate sex more quickly and/or strongly, but men exhibit a faster
activation of sexual interpretations. Men are more likely to perceive a higher
percentage of sexual interest in a female target's behavior because their
concept of sex is activated more rapidly, leading them to categorize the
female target as sexually interested. In contrast, women do not identify the
male target as sexually interested as quickly, their conception of sex is not
aroused as rapidly, and they perceive a lower percentage of sexual intention
in the same behavior.

subject, by comparing his sexual desires through horse racing, and used
horses as representation of private parts of both men and women.

Kung trip mo e di sumakay ka
At papatong ako pag nangalay ka

As the lyrics presented how the persona provoked the subject by
insisting sexual intercourse. And as he described what he will do if somebody
has intercourse with him. This presented the concept of Lindgren et. al.
(2008) that level 3 sexual intent were seen in the lyrics. Level 3 sexual intent
is the target’s intent, willingness, or likelihood to engage in particular
behaviors. The lyrics presented that the persona was willingly wanted to give
his body to the subject whenever she wanted to. One of the influences of
sexual intent according to Lindgren et. al. (2008) found that there are gender
differences in sexual expectations and schemas. Specifically, males may have
more sexualized schemas for women and higher sexualized expectancies
generally.

According to Lindgren et. al. (2008) flirting intention consists of
specific, overt behaviors (e.g., complimenting, hair tossing, making eye
contact) that may or may not indicate sexual intentions. This verse does not
contain sexual intent instead it contains flirting intention of the persona
towards the subject. Perceptions of sexual intent are also influenced by
beliefs about flirting. Individuals are more likely to see both male and female
targets as sexually interested if they think flirting is an indication of interest in
a relationship. This effect becomes more apparent when the target is a
female, suggesting that flirtation and perceived sexual intent are more
strongly correlated in some situations. Lindren et. al (2008) discovered that
when the female target initiated the connection, there was a higher
association between views about flirting and perceptions of sexual intent
rather than when the male target initiated the interaction. It was evident that
gender may affect the perceptions of people towards the sexual intention.

The second verse presents how the subject also wanted to have sexual
intercourse with the persona. As she insists the intentions through having a
chat in her own car and as well as privacy with the persona.

Siya'y nagulat, nabigla, napasigaw "Andrew E"

This presented that the subject also wanted to have sexual intercourse
with the persona. According to Lindgren this is a level four of sexual
intention, the pursuit of sexual interest toward another was considered to be
in a level four. Overall, the song was evident to have sexual intention, the
influence behind sexual intent was the pursuit of each individual. Lindgren,
Shoda et al. (2007) conducted a study which shown that both men and
women can experience automatic activation of sexual interpretations.
Moreover, the investigation unveiled that males exhibit more quickly activation
of these interpretations in contrast to females. Lindgren and colleagues
employed the Implicit Association Test to assess the intensity of cognitive

associations. Their research revealed that men displayed faster associations
between female targets and sexual words as opposed to friendly words, in
contrast to women. These findings indicate that men may exhibit more speed
and/or intensity in their desire for women and sexual activity.
D. CLUBZILLA
The songs do not contain any sexual intent, however the persona
insisted that his song is powerful enough to make the people or his
listeners have a kiss.
Clubzilla, Chorus

The lyrics implies about the sexualization on women that if the women
are trying to look cute and it was indication for the man to have sexual

intent based on the lyrics. The lyrics indicate the persona's intention,
willingness, or likelihood to engage in specific actions, particularly mentioning
his intentions for sexual intercourse with the subject.
E. HUMANAP KA NG PANGET
Humanap Ka Ng Panget, Verse 1
The song does not have sexual intent however more about a man that

perception of someone's desire to pursue a romantic or intimate connection.
III. SEXUAL UNDERTONES
This part of the research includes the presentation and discussion
of sexual undertones that the researcher identified in each lyric of the songs.
A. BANYO QUEEN
The Banyo Queen presented the sexual undertone through the use
of different metaphors in the lyrics. The song writer expressed his ideas
through the persona and subject interactions. These interactions include
how the persona immersed towards the subject as he sexualized the

subject in the beginning of the song. Out of the five songs that was
analyzed by the researcher this song has sequence of being sexual
between the persona and subject. First the writer creates a setting that is
obviously place for a one-night stand situation, prostitution, and sexual
interaction. Second the persona arouses feeling from the subject as he
sexualized it physically. Third the subject and the persona created a
connection that turn out to sexualize each other’s bodies. And last the
fourth part of the song that contains sexual undertone was the time when
the persona and subject had their sexual intercourse that happen in a
motel where each of them exerts sexual efforts to achieved sexual
orgasm. The difference of Banyo Queen in other songs of Andrew E, the
Banyo Queen contained a lot of sexual themes and detailed sexual themes
than the other songs. The title of the rap song presented the theme of the
whole lyrics. Banyo Queen is the title and also the subject of the song,
which leads that the song have a creative way of hiding its meaning
through creative words as it used scheme to conceal the meaning of the
whole lyrics. Banyo Queen is a song that the lyrics are came from the real
or imaginative experience of the writer. As the lyrics vividly narrate the
events between the characters of the song. Andrew E used figurative
language like metaphors and symbolism to his song as it added to have a
more creative lyrics and masked the true meaning of a song. Andrew E.'s
song "Banyo Queen" narrates the story of a man out for a fun-filled

evening who meets a woman that he calls the "Banyo Queen," referring to
her as a queen in the bathroom. As the persona in the song claimed that
he passed out by a drink and dragged out into a motel by the subject
intention. Lindgren et. al. (2008) found that the introduction of alcohol,
either by explicitly giving it to participants or gently implying it through
contextual signals, has a significant effect on increasing perceptions of
sexuality. Put simply, the overall conditions, especially those related to
alcohol consumption, can lead individuals to interpret situations with a
stronger focus on sexual features. This implies a correlation between
environmental factors, such as the availability of alcohol, and individuals'
perception and ascription of sexual intentions in different situations.
Despite, having explicit content, the song's lyrics are humorous and
exaggerated, and they can be seen as a reflection of the potential dangers
and consequences of partying and casual sex. The Banyo Queen
symbolizes the vices and temptations that might cause people to act
impulsively and creates bad choices.
B. COWBOY-COWGIRL
The song presented the undertones through the metaphors, persona,
and subject. Like the other songs metaphors, persona, and subject are the
main keys to undertone the literal meaning of the song. The song lyrics used
its own title to describe the whole meaning of the song lyrics. Cowboy-

career. The difference of Cowboy-Cowgirl to the other song that the
researcher analyze was Cowboy-Cowgirl emphasize the use of symbolism. As
the song lyrics do not pertain sexual themes at first but as you analyze it the
lyrics of the song present the sexual themes. The artist used the horse as a
representation of the persona’s penis and subject’s vagina.
“Kung trip mo e di sumakay ka
At papatong ako pag nangalay ka
Iba't-ibang position ang aking ibibigay

The above lyrics presented how the artist hide the sexual themes of the
song through horse racing and used the horse as a representation of their
private parts of men and women. The lyrics also presented how the men are
objectifying women and wanting the women to behave as a sexual object.
Lindgren et al. (2008) discovered intriguing patterns in how men and women
perceive sexual intent. Based on the results, male raters and interactants
consistently perceived higher degrees of sexual intent in female targets
compared to their female counterparts. In addition, the study revealed that
male raters and interactants expressed a higher level of sexual attraction

towards the female targets in comparison to how female raters and
interactants felt about the male targets.
C. BINIBI ROCHA
The song presented the undertone by using metaphors, persona, and
subject that makes the song to have more creative lyrics and deeper
meanings. The persona and the writer have one personality that makes the
song to be more detailed and relatable to listeners. The song was vividly
narrated by the artist, the artist used metaphors to hide the meaning of the
selected lyrics in the song.
Bini B. Rocha was admired by the persona as the song begins and at
the end of the song Bini B. Rocha was objectified. The lyrics of the song
explained how the subject show her intention to the persona. As she dragged
the persona to her car and give the persona an oral sex. It was evident from
the lyrics of the song that the persona was having a fun time while the
subject giving him sexual orgasm. The song represents how the women in
popular culture are being presented as an easy-going person, enjoy lust over
love, and submissive to men. Lindgren et. al (2008) found that, unlike
women, men showed a correlation between a woman being nice and her
perceived sexuality. These findings provide initial support for the notion that
men may establish quicker associations between women and sexual
implications. males quickly associate the concept of sexuality with women,

resulting in a sense of higher sexual activity in female subjects. As a result,
males tend to classify these female subjects as being sexually interested.
D. CLUBZILLA
Clubzilla is a song that was all about the writer’s career in the hip-hop
industry as a songwriter and as a rapper. The song does have implicit lyrics,
the lyrics contained some slang words from the artist however it was evident
form the lyrics itself that it was all about the writer’s success, his influence in
hip-hop industry in the Philippines and his influences towards people. As the
Clubzilla means that he is the monster of the club or the big person in a club.
The artist claimed that he is the Clubzilla that makes the people to be
energized and hyped when he performs.
E. HUMANAP KA NG PANGET
Humanap Ka Ng Panget by Andrew E. had implicit lyrics, it was all
about love advice. The song presented figurative language like metaphors
and repetition the persona is Andrew E himself and the subject is his
girlfriend which he described as ugly but love him unconditionally. The song
revolved around the idea of finding an ugly partner because they tend to
have good intentions while good looking people are just after your time,
money, and energy. Finding someone who has a true heart and love for their

be with someone who society thinks is ugly, because non-attractive people
tend to give happiness in life. This song is different to other songs of Andrew
E. because it has romantic intentions Lindgren et. al (2008) define romantic
intentions as underlying desires or motivations that people have when it
comes to creating romantic or personal connections with other people. The
concept involves the possibility that an individual can be attracted by the idea
of having a love connection with another individual.
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
This research study the five popular and award-winning songs of
Andrew E. the songs contained sexual themes- mostly about sexual
intercourse with women, about the artist career and love advice. The
researcher found out that most of the songs revolve around the theme of a
man who met a woman in a bar and have sexual intercourse. The persona on
all the songs is the writer himself which make the songs to have more
detailed lyrics. The persona characterized as an opportunist and pervert man
that only wanted woman’s attention and body. Out of five songs the three of
the song’s subjects are women, mostly a beautiful woman that described
sexually and objectified in the song. It was characterized as a careless
woman, a woman that needs attention, and a woman that looking for lust on

hit songs actively encourage sexism and gender inequity. Jones and Deflem
also added that it was anticipated that many country songs, even now, would
be characterized by misogyny and stereotypical masculinity. The extreme level
of antagonistic misogyny can be seen in modern country music. Women can
still be labelled, made out to be just good for sex or a man's pleasure, and
even shown to be stupid or irrational in many modern country songs. Similar
to country music this research provides information about the sexual themes
and misogyny on women in rap songs. However, the researcher also found
that rap songs are not all about sexual themes the other two songs are all
about the artist successful career in the rap song industry, his remarkable
influence on people and love advice for people who wanted to find real love
and happiness in life.
The concept
of level 3 sexual intent pertains to the target's inclination, readiness, or
probability of participating in specific acts. Banyo Queen and Binibi Rocha are
also the songs that evident from this level of sexual intention as the subject

and persona are willing to give their body to each other after knowing each
other few hours ago. Additional sexual intentions that were observed include
sexual intention level 1 and level 4. Level 1 refers to the extent to which the
target exhibits or expresses inherent qualities such as attractiveness or
friendliness. Level 4 pertains to the interest of the target and individuals
involved in engaging in sexual interactions. This presented that the theory
was evident to use in this study.
According to the research of Gaal (2020), women have been
sexualized and objectified in music in more ways than television and movies.
Women's bodies have been used as sexual objects in various genres around
the world, and the industry has encouraged this. Rap and hip-hop lyrics
frequently include slang, vulgarity, and other offensive terminology to
inappropriately depict women.
Apart from sexual intention the researcher also seen in the lyrics the
romantic and flirting intention. Romantic intentions, as defined and evaluated
in the context of interpersonal relationship studies, center on the perception
of an individual's tendency to look for a romantic or intimate connection.
Flirting encompasses explicit and noticeable actions directed at another
individual, such as offering compliments, flicking one's hair, and establishing
eye contact. The Romantic intentions are seen mostly in the song Humanap

the use of metaphors that correlates the sexual interaction of both persona

clearly the implicit sexual themes of Andrew E’s music.
2. The majority of sexual intentions classified pertain to the sexual
behaviors depicted by the characters within the lyrics, exhibiting the
correlation between Level 3 and Level 5 sexual intentions.
3. Banyo Queen, Binibi Rocha, Cowboy-Cowgirl established similarities of
sexual undertone while the other two songs Clubzilla and Humanap Ka
Ng Panget established a different theme about career and love advice.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The researcher proposes numerous recommendations to expand the
scope and application of the study based on the findings related to Andrew E.'s
songs.
1. The researcher suggests future researchers to study other rap
songs using the same theory.
Results and Discussions
68
2. Future researcher may use different literary theory on stylistics
to capture the aesthetics of the lyrics such as other literary
devices.
3. It is recommended to use other literary works like novels and
movies to explore the sexual undertones using the sexual intent
theory.

Lyrics of the Song
SONG 1: BANYO QUEEN
Tagalog
English
[Intro]
How you doin', party people?
Ah, yeah
Oh, this is Andrew E. once again
And I'm gonna do a song
That you've never heard before (Yo)
And you know what?
I know you know this song, baby
From way, way back
So if you all know the song
You know what, you better sing along
Alright?
[Verse 1]
[Chorus]
When the night has come
Ah-yeah, at pinatay ang ilaw
Oh, madalas (Oh, madalas)
Lumalabas (Lumalabas)
Banyo queen
[Verse 2]
Alright, second verse
Sa Cafe Adriatico, ako ay inaya
Inom daw kami at siya ang taya
Kaya't kaming dalawa'y uminom ng beer
Inangat niya ang mug at ang sabi niya sakin,
"Cheers"
[Intro]

[Verse 1]
I was in Malate, seven in the evening
Then I met this beautiful woman
Who captivated my eyes
Little did I know, she's just a deceiving liar
She hit me with, "Buy me this, buy me that"
She's giving me hints, but we're not yet on
that
To avoid suspicion, she was bragging
Claiming that she's a meneshtoua in Alabang
I held her close, tightly
Drooling over her short skirt
When I looked away, she was gone
My money's gone, and I haven't even kissed
her yet.
[Chorus]
When the night has come
Ah-yeah, and the lights were turned off
Oh, often (Oh, often)
She comes out (She comes out)
Bathroom queen
[Verse 2]
Alright, second verse
I was invited to Cafe Adriatico
She said we should drink and she'll pay
So the two of us drank beer
She raised her mug and said to me, "Cheers"

[Chorus]
When the night has come
Ah-yeah, at pinatay ang ilaw
Oh, madalas (Oh, madalas)
Lumalabas (Lumalabas)
Banyo queen
Ah-yeah, oh darling, darling, stand by me
Oh-oh, stand by me
Oh, madalas (Oh, madalas)
Lumalabas (Lumalabas)
Banyo queen
[Verse 3]
Alright, get ready for the third verse
Kami ay nagtatawanan at nag-kukwentuhan
At doon sa sofa kami ay naglalampungan
Ang ginaw, para akong nasa Roppongi
Pinatay niya ang ilaw, then binuksan ang VCD
Doon sa kanyang kama, kami ay nahiga
Ako ay nagulat at ako'y nabigla
Ako'y nanginginig, pawis na pawis
Tinutok ko, pinasok ko, and boy walang daplis
At ang sabi niya sa'kin, "Ah-uh-ah-ah"
"Andrew, Andrew, sige pa, sige pa!"
Tumagilid, tumihaya, lumuhod at dumapa
[Chorus]
When the night has come
Ah-yeah, at pinatay ang ilaw
Oh, madalas (Oh, madalas)
Lumalabas (Lumalabas)
Banyo queen
(Take it to the top!)
Oh, darling, darling, stand by me
Oh-oh, stand by me
Oh, madalas (Oh, madalas)
Lumalabas (Lumalabas)
Banyo queen
[Verse 4]
Alright now, here we go with the fourth verse!
Ang puting kumot, pilit hinahabulot
Likod ko'y namumula sa kakakalmot
No'n siya ay umuungol at umuungos
What I didn't know was that she spiked it
I suddenly felt dizzy and lost consciousness
When I woke up, I noticed
The name of the motel was "Anito Inn"
So I said, "Oh no! I should split now"
If my girlfriend finds out, it'll be difficult
I wasn't thinking about her waistline
Until I saw her in her underwear.
[Chorus]
When the night has come
Ah-yeah, and the lights were turned off
Oh, often (Oh, often)
She comes out (She comes out)
Bathroom queen
Ah-yeah, oh darling, darling, stand by me
Oh-oh, stand by me
Oh, often (Oh, often)
She comes out (She comes out)
Bathroom queen
[Verse 3]
Alright, get ready for the third verse
We were laughing and chatting
And on the sofa, we were lounging
It was cold, I felt like I was in Roppongi
She turned off the lights, then put on the VCD
On her bed, we lay down
I was surprised and taken aback
I was trembling, sweating profusely
I aimed, I entered, and boy, no miss
And she said to me, "Ah-uh-ah-ah"
"Andrew, Andrew, keep going, keep going!"
I turned, I shifted, I knelt, and I bowed
When we finished, she said, "Shit, one more
time"
[Chorus]
When the night has come
Ah-yeah, and the lights were turned off
Oh, often (Oh, often)
She comes out (She comes out)
Bathroom queen
(Take it to the top!)
oh darling, darling, stand by me
Oh-oh, stand by me
Oh, often (Oh, often)
She comes out (She comes out)
Bathroom queen
[Verse 4]
Alright now, here we go with the fourth verse!
The white blanket, I'm trying to pull
My back is red from scratching

SONG 2: COWBOY-COWGIRL
TAGALOG
Ah yeah
Here we go...
Ana
No stop ang kabayo sa pag-uunahan
Tuloy ang laban para bang mauubusan
Pag umibabaw ikaw ay lamado
Pero pag sa ilalim ikaw ay dehado
Di patatalo at lagi kang panalo
Ganyan kagaling ang aking kabayo
ENGLISH
Ah yeah
Ah yeah
I made this song for those who love
Horse racing... horse racing... horse racing
Here we go...
Have you ever experienced the thrill of the
race
It used to be in San Lazaro, now in Sta. Ana
The horses never stop in their race
The competition continues, as if there's no
tomorrow
Kung trip mo e di sumakay ka
At papatong ako pag nangalay ka
Iba't-ibang position ang aking ibibigay
Para ang kabayo umamo at masanay
When you're on top, you're favored
But when you're at the bottom, you're at a
disadvantage
Don't give up and always win
That's how good my horse is
Labas pasok ito kapag rumimache
Bihasa ang hayop pagrumirimate
Cowboy ako cowgirl ka rin
Kabayo natin paglabanin natin
If you're interested, then ride it
And I'll give you a boost when you're tired
I'll give different positions
So the horse can get used to it
CHORUS
Ako ang cowboy (ako ang cowboy)
Ikaw ang cowgirl (Ikaw ang cowgirl)
Ang karera number one (di ka pwedeng
manguna)
Dito sa aking world (Dito sa aking world)
Kabayo, karera at sa karerista
kailangan ay hinete hindi masahista
Pag sumugal, ubusan ng pera
Pag wala nang panaya ipupusta asawa
In and out, when making a turn
The animal is skilled when making a move
I'm a cowboy, you're a cowgirl too
Let's make our horses compete
Meron pang babae, meron pang lalake
Dapat disi-ocho para pwedeng pwede
Simpleng simple kung gustong matutunan
Hahayuda ka lang pagdating sa rektahan
Pag sa race 1 hindi ka nagwagi
Sa race 2 han makakaresbak kang muli
Pisil-pisilin at ihimas-himas
Para tong si horsey mabilis pumorcast
Up and down tigidig at walang hinto
CHORUS
I'm the cowboy (I'm the cowboy)
You're the cowgirl (You're the cowgirl)
The number one in the race (you can't be
first)
In my world (In my world)
Horse, race, and for the racer
You need a rider, not a masseuse
When you gamble, you lose all your money
When you have nothing left, you'll bet your
spouse
There are still women, there are still men
It needs to be eighteen to be qualified
It's easy to learn
Just ask someone when you're at the right
place
If you didn't win in race 1

Kabayo natin paglabanin natin
repeat CHORUS 4 times
Style kong pangarera, walang sawa
Kabayo natin paglabanin natin
repeat CHORUS 4 times
In race 2, you can still make a comeback
Squeeze and pat it
So the horse can run faster
Up and down, non-stop
When the horse's eyes bulge, put a tapaoho
on it
I'm a cowboy, you're a cowgirl too
Let's make our horses compete
repeat CHORUS 4 times
You don't need to go to Victoria anymore
I can beat them all, even in the arena
Other competitors are very picky with their
horses
Everybody welcomes my horse Magellan
Others cheat when they place their bets
They'll bet on the opponent's horse
Different with me, an expert
My racing style never gets tired
When you're unlucky and you lose
You'll have countless problems in life
But when you're very lucky, you always win
Go home and your wife can be pleased
At the race track girl, you're my big boss
But in the rap game, I'm the syndicate
Well, I'm a cowboy, you're a cowgirl too
Let's make our horses compete
repeat CHORUS 4 times
SONG 3: HUMANAP KA NG PANGET
TAGALOG
ENGLISH
Ay, nako, ayan, kasi, ano?
Ang hihilig kasi sa magagandang lalaki
Ang hilig sa magandang babae
Oh, ano napala n'yo?
And it goes a little something like this
Oh, there, you see, well, you know?
People are inclined towards handsome men
They like beautiful women
Oh, what have you gained? Well, nothing
So, if I were you, just listen to what I'm going
to say
Find someone ugly and truly love them
That's what you should do, so listen to me
And it goes a little something like this
If you want to be happy in your life
Find someone ugly and truly love them
Find someone so ugly that you can't accept

Mangaliwa ka man, ah, sige lang, and'yan pa
And not the man of your dreams
But why did I say this? It's simple
Because handsome men just play
With your time, energy, struggles, and money
But they are always ready to leave you in a
moment
When you have nothing more to give, right?
So, look for an ugly man, dear
If not, go ahead, your heart will break
Even if the ugly one leaves, you won't cry
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, don't,
hey)
Find someone ugly (don't, don't, hey, don't,
hey)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey)
Truly love them (don't, don't, hey, don't, hey,
don't)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, hey,
don't)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, hey,
don't)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey)
Truly love them (don't, don't, hey)
An ugly woman who has feelings for you
Even if you cheat, she'll still be there
Because you are truly hers
She won't even think of leaving you, it's not
possible
And if you happen to look away, don't worry
You can be sure that no one will approach her
If she's with you, it's okay to be scared, it's
fine
If she will serve you
So, to be happy in your life
Find someone ugly and truly love them
And if not, go ahead, your heart will break
Even if the ugly one leaves, you won't cry,
right?
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, don't,
hey)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, don't,
hey)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey)
Truly love them (don't, hey, don't)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, hey,
don't)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, hey,
don't)
Find someone ugly (don't, hey, don't, hey)
Truly love them (don't, hey, don't)
Let me tell you what happened

kong sumigaw
Gusto kong iwanan s'ya ngunit ako'y nag-isip
Ito ba'y totoo o isang panaginip?
'Di s'ya maganda ngunit ako'y kanyang hari
(Iyan ba'ng dahilan kaya't kasama mo
palagi?)
Sabihin man nila na ako'y mangmang
Para sa akin, kagandahan ay hanggang balat
lamang
At sa inyo, mayro'n akong ibubulong
"Second anniversary na namin 'to, tsong"
Ibigin mong tunay
So, you better watch out, you better not cry
You better not pout, I'm telling you why
'Cause the girls and the guys did tell you all
lies
You have to find out who's naughty, who's
nice
Break it down
I went on a date with an ugly woman
She said she had a lot of suitors
But when I saw her, she looked like a man
And you'll really laugh at me
Because she really looks like Zoraida
Believe me, I fell for her, why?
(Well, because she's very kind)
She never refuses any of my requests
She always kisses my cheek
I'm shocked (ha)
Every day when I'm with her, I want to shout
I want to leave her but I thought
Is this real or just a dream?
She's not beautiful but she's my queen
(Is that why you're always with her?)
Even if they say I'm foolish
For me, beauty is only skin deep
And to you, I have a secret to whisper
"It's our second anniversary, buddy"
So, to be happy in your life
Find someone ugly and truly love them
And if not, go ahead, your heart will break
Even if the ugly one leaves, you won't cry
(okay then)
Find someone ugly (alright then)
Find someone ugly (alright then)
Find someone ugly (alright then)
Truly love them (alright then)
Find someone ugly (alright then)
Find someone ugly (alright then)
Find someone ugly (alright then)
Truly love them
So, you better watch out, you better not cry
You better not pout, I'm telling you why
Find someone ugly and truly love them
'Cause the girls and the guys did tell you all
lies
You have to find out who's naughty, who's
nice
Find someone ugly and truly love them

SONG 4: BINIBI ROCHA
TAGALOG
ENGLISH
Pagkatapos kong mag-MC sa Euphoria nung
nakaraang sabado
out ko
7-11 Quezon City yo, dun ako napadpad
Walang katao-tao dun and yo it was so sad
Nang may biglang pumasok
Isang chick oh ang ganda
Mmmm nakakainis walang mintis pati ang
kutis nya
Mata niya ay kulay brown
Meron siyang brace sya sa ngipin
Kamukha siya si Rita Avila kung iisipin
Katawan niya'y 36, 24, 34
Sa panong paraan kaya ako makakascore
Magaling syang pumorma, suot n'ya ay
hanging shirt
Nang dumukot sya ng pera, umangat ang
kanyang skirt
Kaya akoy biglang nagsabi
Hey girl, I like your style
Siya'y kumagat then kumindat at nagpakita
ng smile
Tinanong nya ako, Hey arent you Andrew E of
Euphoria
Sumagot sya, Hi Andrew my name is
Binibirocha
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what now)
Talagang type na type ko sya
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
In love ako sa beauty niya (one more time in
the place)
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
Talagang type na type ko sya
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
In love ako sa beauty nya
So pagkatapos ng isang linggo
Wa akalain niyo
Si Binibirocha ay nakita ko sa disco
At ako ay nagulat sa aking napuna
Oh my God, ang kasama nya ay lima-lima
Ang sabi ko "Hi Bini, can you still remember
me?"
After I had my MC at Euphoria last Saturday,
I went to my favorite hangout spot, you know
7-11 in Quezon City, that's where I ended up
No one was there, and it was so sad
When suddenly someone came in
A chick, oh so beautiful
Mmmm, it's annoying how flawless even her
skin is
Her eyes are brown
She has braces on her teeth
She looks like Rita Avila if you think about it
Her body measurements are 36, 24, 34
How can I possibly score with her
She's good at styling, wearing a hanging shirt
When she reached for money, her skirt lifted
So I suddenly said
Hey girl, I like your style
She took the bait, winked, and showed a
smile
She asked me, Hey aren't you Andrew E of
Euphoria
She replied, Hi Andrew my name is
Binibirocha
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what now)
I really like her a lot
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
I'm in love with her beauty (one more time in
the place)
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
I really like her a lot
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
I'm in love with her beauty
So after a week
You won't believe it
I saw Binibirocha at the disco
And I was surprised by what I noticed
Oh my God, she was with five others
I said "Hi Bini, can you still remember me?"
She was surprised, shocked, and exclaimed
"Andrew E"
She joined me, what do you think
When we left the disco
We got into her Pajero
Just in the Pajero, I already felt
The warmth of her touch I deeply felt
It was cold in the Pajero but she was hot

Sumakay sa kanyang pajero
Sa pajero pa lang pinakiramdaman ko na
Init ng kanyang haplos ay aking damang
dama
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
Talagang type na type ko sya
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
In love ako sa beauty niya (one more time in
the place)
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (uh huh, yeah)
Talagang type na type ko sya
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
In love ako sa beauty niya
Break it down
She kept nibbling on my ear
And with the help of her lips, she tickled me
She took my hand, placed it on her thigh
As if she was running out of time
She climbed on me and she smiled
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
I really like her a lot
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
I'm in love with her beauty (one more time in
the place)
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (uh huh, yeah)
I really like her a lot
Binibirocha, Binibirocha (you know what)
I'm in love with her beauty

SONG 5: CLUBZILLA
TAGALOG
ENGLISH
Verse 1:
Eyy yow
Mga wanna be parang sintonado symphony
Ang rapsape na to dagdagan ang sediment
Ganya ako mag design at mag experiment
Gumawa ng album within just one week
May halagang 8 figure shotining sweet
Andrew e bad rapper got big bad skills
Eyy yow
Inside the club, Andrew E. with his passport
When holding the mic, it's like a forte
When I start to rap, it's like walking alone in
color
On stage, I'm more than a veteran
My words are like intricate paintings
And I win hands down, especially if you're not
familiar
I've been fixing this for a long time
Wannabes are like out-of-tune symphonies
This rapper here adds to the excitement
That's how I design and experiment
Made an album within just one week
Worth eight figures, shining sweet
Andrew E, bad rapper with big bad skills
And I'm equivalent to the whole French Batil
Chorus:
Clubzilla on the mic
Makikinig, kikiligin, mag iindakan
Diretso na to hanggang kayo ay mag smackan
Clubzilla on the mic
Makikinig, kikiligin, mag iindakan
Diretso na to hanggang kayo ay mag smackan
Verse 2:
Andrew E is a rap geng batikan duetler
And I’m bringing it all baby, kung san ko feel
People who support me
Tatanggap ice cream
Tagalog rap Andrew E magka infatuate
Na sa araw minemate sa gabi ginagalaw
Walang hudyo na makaka agaw tugmaang
from Edi to Eupa Rise Bramo
Chorus:
Clubzilla on the mic
Everyone will be stepping on
Just like what I did at the corner
Listening, getting thrilled, dancing
This will go on until you start smacking each
other
Clubzilla on the mic
Everyone will be stepping on
Just like what I did at the corner
Listening, getting thrilled, dancing
This will go on until you start smacking each
other
Verse 2:
Andrew E is a seasoned rap gangster duetler
Wherever you reach, in the midst of the
looters
Directly holding the steering wheel
And I'm bringing it all, where I feel it
People who support me
Will receive ice cream
For detractors, a red laser beam
For the girls, if you're trying to be cute
I'll give you a feeling without a parachute
My reaction is rational
If I hit you, it's work, not personal
I'll teach you until you graduate
Tagalog rap Andrew E, make you infatuated
Mated in the day, stirred at night

Sa Bola Olei, Olei Olei de joice
Sila’y nanininding Andrew E only virgin

Kaya huwag kang basta tityra-tira kapatid

They're looking for Andrew E, only virgin

So don't just shoot randomly, brother
My skills in libido are the first to be felt
You can't cross my bridge, you know
Your rap career will never go anywhere
You won't be at ease, hypothetically
In the Philippines, number one theoretically
Chorus: Repeat 4x
Clubzilla on the mic
Everyone will be stepping on
Just like what I did at the corner
Listening, getting thrilled, dancing
This will go on until you start smacking each
