This IA examines the entrepreneurial aspects of Hudson’s tutoring service in the construction
sector. The study focuses on the relationship between entrepreneurial mind set, processes,
creativity, and innovation, with a particular emphasis on Mr Hudson, a significant figure in the
business. Hudson’s Tutoring is a dedicated educational service that provides personalized
learning experiences to students, offering a wide range of academic support in various subjects.
With a focus on fostering individual growth, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills,
Hudson’s Tutoring is committed to helping students reach their full potential. The team of
experienced tutors at Hudson’s tutoring works closely with each student, identifying their unique

In the context of this internal assessment (IA), Hudson’s tutoring has played a significant role in

Aim: To determine the Entrepreneurial mindset, process, creativity and innovation in the
establishment and growth of Hudson’s tutoring service.

Data collection
The researchers used both primary and secondary sources. The primary source was collected
through an interview with Mr Hudson on November 25, 2024, using the online platform Google
Meet. The interview was composed of 15 questions, with both open-ended and closed-ended
formats, thus allowing for the collection of both qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative
data provided in-depth insights into Mr Hudson’s perceptions and experiences, while the
quantitative data enabled the assessment of particular aspects of his tutoring methodologies and
their effectiveness. The secondary source was an article from the Jamaica Observer titled
"Education Transformation: Teaching and Learning Can No Longer be the same." The
application of these methodologies was justified, as it provided a complete understanding of the
topic by collecting first-hand information and complementing it with available literature.
However, the limitations were the possibility of bias in the responses obtained from the interview
and limited generalizability, as the data were mainly reflective of the perspective of a single
person and one article, which may not reflect the full scope of the educational environment.
