More detailed update on points in Updates
slide
• We were tasked to create a frame that would hold an LCD screen,
oscillators, and lights that would project the LCD. In order to create
the design for the LCD, I had to first learn to navigate AutoCAD. While
doing this, I created an object to test my knowledge and
understanding of this software.
• Regarding the updated Python code, I was experimenting with
different colormaps so we can create different patterns that would
then translate onto the LCD screen once we complete the design and
the physical making of it.
Plans/To-Do
• Tasks to complete
• Finish designing the LCD holder on AutoCAD and then 3D printing it. The
design will most likely be done by Friday, if not then next Monday. We don’t
have a 3D printer yet. Juan is going to purchase one soon and when it arrives,
we’ll transfer the CAD file of our design into the printer.
