The score for the Research Project analysis with technical argumentation will range from 0 (zero) to 100 (one hundred) points, calculated from the average of the scores of the evaluators on the Examining Board. Candidates will pass this phase if they obtain at least 60 (sixty) points and may proceed to the next stage. If approved, the execution of the submitted Research Project will be subject to the approval of the prospective advisor, as the advisor may propose a new Research Project. A proportional calculation will be made for activities carried out with less or more time than the minimum required for completion. For classification purposes, the candidate with the highest score will be awarded 100.0 (one hundred). The remaining candidates will be awarded scores proportional to that candidate's score. The Examining Board for the entire selection process will be formally appointed by the PPGNS Board and will be composed of professors from the PPGNS Graduate and Undergraduate Programs, administrative staff, and/or postdoctoral students.
