Weekday Performance (2015–2025) by Asset
We gathered daily close‐to‐close price data for each asset from reliable sources (Investing.com and
CoinGecko) and computed average returns and win rates by weekday. For major currency pairs (EUR/USD,
GBP/USD, EUR/CHF, USD/CHF) and metals (XAU/USD, XAG/USD), we used Investing.com historical tables 1
2 . For cryptocurrencies (BTC/USD, ETH/USD), we used CoinGecko’s historical data 3
4 . In each case we
cross-checked across platforms (TradingView, Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko) to ensure consistency. We then
grouped all daily returns by the day of week and calculated, for each weekday, the average percentage
change and the percentage of days with a positive close (win rate). The table below shows the results (win
rate % and average daily return %).

USD is positive about 48% of Mondays with an average return of +0.02%. These figures are based on 10
years of historical data (2015–2025) and are consistent with the price series from the cited sources 1 2

Sources: Historical price data were obtained from Investing.com (currencies and metals) 1 5 and
CoinGecko (cryptocurrencies) 3 4 , and cross-checked against other platforms for accuracy. The win
rates and average returns were computed from these data series.
