Introduction to Machine Learning
Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enables systems to learn and
improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. It focuses on the development of
algorithms that can process data, recognize patterns, and make decisions with minimal human
intervention. There are three main types of machine learning: 1. Supervised Learning - The algorithm
learns from labeled training data and makes predictions based on it. 2. Unsupervised Learning - The
algorithm works on unlabeled data to find hidden structures or patterns. 3. Reinforcement Learning The algorithm learns by interacting with an environment and receiving feedback in the form of rewards
or penalties. Applications of ML include recommendation systems, fraud detection, medical diagnosis,
autonomous vehicles, and natural language processing.
