Lecture question one
If the CRAAP test succeeds on two different articles you still might want to use different sources
and expand your research on different articles and compare from different sources from seeing
how different articles from different sources for example the CDC could have different examples
could still pass the test from our reading where the hospital may have said that it doesn't have
the same Effectiveness so you could use those conflicting results and find different information
and use that as context.
Lecture question 2
I think an example that how racism could affect socially is probably trying to get a job for black
people for example Maybe a black sounding name is specifically likely not to get hired because
of that and that's been well established and researched other example is mental is that
sometimes there was a story about how in lecture a Asian woman was the only woman in a
white town that was diagnosed with schizophrenia and she had to deal with the Outlook and the
issues with that example with physical with though being is like if a doctor or office or a hospital
closes in a town that is with racial minorities or minorities in general those people might have to
go farther in general and have less Access to Health Care.
The lecture question three
I think that identity can play a big part in the scientific process for example who are you studying
where are you studying what are you bringing into the scientific process from your own identity
the identity the people that you're studying the identity of the area that you're studying these all
these things can introduce different biases into the system as noted in lecture and create a
different picture of where you go in the environment that you are in based on your own identity
biases and the places that and people they are talking to.
