MULTIPLICATION:
Putting together equal groups of objects is
known as multiplication.
MULTIPLICATION FACT :
A multiplication fact is a mathematical
statement that shows the product of two
numbers, such as ‘3x7=21’.
➢We use the symbols x and = in a multiplication
fact.
➢The answer of multiplying two numbers is
known as the product.
Eg:4x2=8.
➢ A number multiplied by 1 is the number itself.
➢ Any number multiplied by 0 is 0.
➢ Changing the order of numbers while multiplying
does not change its product.
