The goal of this project is to create a short video that increases people's knowledge and preparedness in
using fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and evacuating victims during emergencies in a company. The
purpose of the video is to instruct staff members on the appropriate steps to take in case of a fire,
ensuring prompt and efficient reactions to minimize damage.
The instructional video will help staff members understand how to use fire extinguishers and fire hoses,
as well as the proper steps to evacuate victims, by providing clear instructions and examples. This will
enhance safety and reduce the likelihood of fire-related incidents at the building site.
1.2 Concept of project
This project aims to develop an instructional video that enhances the knowledge and preparedness of
company staff in handling fire emergencies. By focusing on the use of fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and
the correct procedures for evacuating victims, the video will provide clear, practical guidance designed
to ensure prompt and effective responses during a fire. This educational tool will serve to improve staff
competence in emergency situations, thereby minimizing potential damage and increasing overall safety
within the workplace. Through detailed demonstrations and step-by-step instructions, the video will
foster a safer work environment and reduce the risk of fire-related incidents on site.
1.3 Objectives
The main goal of the video is to instruct staff members and workers on the significance of emergency

operations. This video also contains some vital objectives:

employees, who watch it to learn how to properly comprehend and implement emergency response
strategies.

effectively convey its message and meet its goals. All workers in Mapei is the main target audience,
with a concentration on those who are directly involved in or near the production area, which is where
emergency circumstances are most likely to arise.

After developing the appropriate emergency response scenarios, I focused on organizing the firefighting

I chose to use WhatsApp as the main medium for sharing the basic firefighting safety
video because of how frequently employees use it.
The team could rapidly and effectively reach a sizable section of the workforce by using
WhatsApp to share the video. A brief message highlighting the video's significance and
urgingstaff members to watch and forward it to their peers was included with it.
6.2 Evaluation
The impact of the video was gauged using metrics including feedback, staff involvement
(reactions), and video views. The video was successful in raising people's knowledge and
awareness of fire extinguishers, fire hoses and evacuation methods during emergency.
6.3 Discussion Lessons Learned
