5.2 Connections 连接
5.2.1 Connections shall be as shown on the drawings and as specified herein. 在此处指定（此规范指定）
5.2.2 Connections not shown on the drawings shall be designed as follows:
a) Moment connections 弯矩连接 shall be designed to develop the factored 考虑系数后的 moment resistance 弯矩抗力of
the weakest connected member部件.
b) Shear connections 剪力连接 shall be designed to develop the maximum shear force 最大剪力from structural analysis or
one half of the factored shear resistance 设计剪切抗力of the member being connected 所连接构件whichever is greater,
unless the shear is shown on the drawing.
c) Splices shall be designed to develop the factored tensile 受拉 resistance of the weakest connected member.
d) Bracing members shall have their axis of gravity 重力 meet at one point if practicable and if not, provisions规定、准备
shall be made for 为...做好准备additional stresses 附加应力due to the eccentricity偏心.
e) Shop connections shall be welded, or equivalently 等效地bolted, and field connections shall be bolted unless otherwise
shown on the drawings.

5.2 连接
5.2.1 连接应按图纸所示及本规范规定进行。
5.2.2 图纸未显示的连接应按以下方式设计：
a) 弯矩连接的设计应能发挥最弱连接构件的设计弯矩抗力。
b) 剪力连接的设计应能承受结构分析得出的最大剪力，或所连接构件设计抗剪承载力的一半，取两者中的较大值，
除非图纸中另有说明。
c) 拼接连接的设计应能发挥最弱连接构件的设计抗拉抗力。
d) 受力构件的重心轴应在可行时汇交于一点，若无法做到，则应考虑因偏心产生的附加应力。
e) 车间连接应采用焊接，或等效的螺栓连接；现场连接应采用螺栓连接，除非另有规定。

Understood. For the column-free spaces, a post-tensioned concrete slab system might be suitable. It can span

Both options work. Concrete is more cost-effective for residential buildings and has better fire resistance,
though construction takes 20% longer. Steel can speed up the schedule but requires fireproofing coatings,
which add to the cost. Based on your budget and timeline, concrete frame would be more economical.
