Please know that dropping this class requires student action. Students must initiate the process and apply for a
withdrawal/drop through the Registrar at the Student Enrollment Center. Adding/Dropping classes are the
students’ responsibility.

Student Introduction
Respond to the questions below and submit to D2L Dropbox + Print out document and bring to class if F2F.

Briefly describe your current areas of scholarly study/what is your major/s, do you have any minors, etc.?
My major is computer science, and I intend to minor in math and philosophy
2. Briefly describe any career, academic, and/or professional goals that you’ve mapped out? I am still
deciding what path I want to take, but I am a computer science major.
3. Have you taken a university-level class in the discipline of Art History before? If so, which eras of art’s
history did you study? No I have not,
a. If not, why did you select this Art History class to fulfill Humanities requirements? I have an
interest in the many areas of art and want to slightly broaden my knowledge of it.
4. Have you explored a historical site or visited a museum and/or/gallery recently? If so, which one? There
is not somewhere I have been recently, but I have been to the Everhart Museum many times as a kid.
5. Do you have a favorite artwork from this era? Please provide an image and describe which aspects of the
work you connect. I do not currently have a favorite artwork, but I want to develop a favorite as we
progress in class.
6. Is there a particular question/issue related to this class’s content that intrigues you? No, there is nothing
that raises concern right now.
7. What is one element of your written communication that you would like to improve? I want to improve
fluidity in my writing to avoid sounding stale at times.

8. What is one element of your oral communication that you would like to improve and/or develop? I want
to work on slowing down when trying to relay information because I tend to jumble my words at times
when trying to get out too much at once.
