Climate change isn’t just a natural cycle, it’s something that
we are actively accelerating through the way we power our
homes, fuel our cars, clear our forests, and grow our food.
Our everyday actions are adding dangerous greenhouse
gases to the atmosphere, and if we want a livable future, we
have to take responsibility and act now.

CALL TO ACTION
(HOW YOU CAN HELP)
“As per the Paris agreement, 195 countries of the United Nations (UN)
have agreed to gradually reduce the use of fossil fuels and hence the
emission of CO2 to reach the carbon neutrality by 2050 and net zero
carbon emission by 2070 along with limiting the global average
temperature rise below 2°C by 2100 above the pre-industrial levels” (Sain,
2023).
TREES ABSORB CARBON AND
STORE IT IN THEIR ROOTS,
LEAVES, AND TRUNK
“WHEN TREES DECAY OR ARE BURNED,
THEY RELEASE STORED CARBON INTO
THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE FORM OF
CARBON DIOXIDE. THIS IS A
GREENHOUSE GAS THAT TRAPS HEAT
NEAR THE EARTH’S SURFACE, RAISING
TEMPERATURES AND PROPELLING
CLIMATE CHANGE” (UNEP 2024).
“The increased livestock numbers
contributed to the increases in CH4
and N2O emissions, while inorganic N
fertilizer, crop residue, and irrigation
mainly contributed to the increases in
N2O emissions” (NewsRX LLC 2025)
