It has been decided to introduce Family Savings Bank Account facility “SBI Rishtey” with the objective of offering competitive features on our Salary Package. 2. “SBI Rishtey” will facilitate operating functionaries in sourcing / marketing Salary Package Accounts as well as meeting competition from other Banks. The product will enhance loyalty of customer with the Bank and generate more business opportunities for retail assets / liability / insurance and investment products from this target group. 3. Existing and / or new Savings Bank Account of family members of Salary Package Customers will be converted / opened using new product code “1029-1601”. The product features of “SBI Rishtey” are attached as Annexure-I. Detailed process/ guidelines for the product is attached as Annexure-II, for use of operating functionaries. 4. The Family-ID will be combination of static keyword 'FSA' and SB account's CIF number. For e.g., “FSA12345678901”. (i) Please note that salary package account holder having salary account under eligible product codes as per Annexure-III will be allowed otherwise CBS system will give error message “9620: The entered Primary Account is not of CSP Product”. (ii) Customer with Resident Code “01-RI” is eligible. Other than “01-RI” resident status will not be allowed for creation of family id. CBS system will give error message “9623: Primary/ Secondary CIF Cust type is not allowed under this scheme”. (iii) The primary or secondary CIF should not have the accounts under NOFRILL/BSBD products, Otherwise Error will be given “9626: PRIM/SEC CIF SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCOUNT UNDER NO-FRILL/BSBD PRODUCT”. (v) For active linked secondary CIF, only one FSA is permitted under the FSA product. (iv) Primary CIF is not eligible for FSA under the scheme. (vi) The creation of Family-ID will be allowed from the Primary CIF's home branch or from authorized non-home branches for doing activities under Salary Package products. (vii) The FAMILY-ID should not be created for the following customer types 'STAFF/NRI/NRO/BSBD/JPB/HUF/SENIOR CITIZEN'. (viii) FAMILY-ID EXTENSION IN CBS A new menu link will be introduced under the ‘Customer Management' with menu link name as ‘Link Secondary CIF to SBI Rishtey Scheme' (Screen No. 60033). (i) This new menu link will be provided to all the user types which are allowed or had access to the menu for the CIF creation in CBS Bancslink system. If multiple secondary CIFs are to be added, then user to use this screen that many times. (i) System will not allow addition of more than four secondary CIFs in an active status. CBS system will give error message “XXXX: CANNOT ADD FURTHER, MAX ALLOWED MEMBERS COUNT EXCEEDED.” (iii) The secondary CIF must not be part of any other family-ID with active status. CBS system to give error message “XXXX: CANNOT ADD, CUSTOMER IS ALREADY PART OF OTHER FAMILY-ID.” (ii) FAMILY-ID AMENDMENT/DELETION IN CBS A new menu link will be introduced under the 'Customer Management' with menu link name as 'Family-ID Amendment' (Screen No. 60034). 1. This new menu link will be provided to all the user types which are allowed for the CIF creation in CBS Bancslink system. The new screen for amendments in the existing Family ID would be as depicted below: Here branch users can de-link any particular ACTIVE Secondary CIF from Family-ID. 2. There will be radio button option against all the four records and whichever record branch user requires to de-link from FAMILY-ID scheme, can select the same and click button ‘DE-LINK CIF FROM FAMILY-ID'. CBS system to validate first whether the SB account under new product of FSA (family savings scheme) is present in the CBS under the de-linked secondary CIF then CBS system to give error “9637: FIRST CHANGE THE ACCOUNT PRODUCT, THEN DELINK”. Once the branch user via '7046' screen changes the SB a/c product to normal SB product then CBS system will allow the de-link of secondary CIF from Family-ID scheme. Primary CIF will not be allowed to be de-linked from family-ID at any point of time. (ii) (iii) All the secondary CIFs can be de-linked from family-id in the same fashion. FAMILY-ID ENQUIRY IN CBS A new menu link will be introduced under the ‘Customer Management' with menu link name as ‘Family-ID Enquiry' (Screen No. 60037). 2. This new menu link will be provided to all the user types which are allowed for the CIF creation in CBS Bancslink system. 3. Branch user to either enter the Primary CIF or Family-ID to fetch the details of family-id and all linked primary/secondary CIF and their names. 1. The Family-ID and primary CIF relations to continue as it is in the CBS system for other purposes and bank reference. 1. The secondary CIFs relationship with the Primary CIF will not be captured in CBS system. Branches to validate it operationally. 2. Once the secondary CIFs are added into the family-id then their existing SB account can be converted into the new FSA SB product. Branch to use the existing product change screen '7046' and all in-built validations on product change will be applicable and there will be no by-pass of errors. If the existing account's product change is not allowed by CBS system, then branch user to open new SB a/c in the new FSA product. 3. Points to be remembered: Auto conversion of product change while de-linking/linking, is not feasible. Branches to do it manually via screen number 7046. (i) (ii) All the screens/transactions are based on Maker Checker Concept. The above screens/ transactions are available to user types who are already authorized for 'Customer Management' link. (iii) If the Primary CIF is already part of an existing family-id, then system will not allow family-id creation. (iv) If the Primary CIF was part of an existing family-id and currently is inactive, then system will allow family-id creation. (v) (vi) System will not allow product change of primary CIF till the time, family-id is active. System should not allow secondary CIF to be de-linked from family-id till the time, it is active in family-id. Check the enquiry screen, it should display the details of family-id.
