Call another Rio Tinto VC room
Join other conferencing services
Press the Join Teams button to join a
MS Teams meeting.
Press Call and then Directory to find
Rio Tinto VC rooms.
Press the Call button and then the Search dial or
field.
Or press the Call button and in the Directory use
the Rio Tinto MS Teams shortcut.
Press the Search or dial field to display
the keyboard and search the room by
typing their name.
For example: MN-ULO-Monnis-L5ITRoom
Use the keypad to enter the video address from
your meeting invitation, and press Call. In case
of BleuJeans dial to meet@bjn.vc
Join a Microsoft Teams Meeting
Use the keypad to enter the video conference ID.
Room availabilities can be checked on "Room
Calendar"
In-meeting controls
Use the keypad to enter the conference or
meeting ID when prompted.

microphone options, which will

Report issues after your meeting by
calling the OT IT Service Desk or raise
a IT Self Service ticket.
Hint: If the host of a Teams meeting
mutes you, press *6 from the keypad to
un-mute.

4. Adjust the camera and enable/disable Selfview
5. Adjust the screen layout

Note: The live Helpdesk is for support with VC issues.
All other IT issues should be logged via the OT IT Service Desk.

Screen Sharing with HDMI Cable
Connect your laptop using
the presentation cable and
press Share in call.
Press Preview to view your
screen on your video system.
This will not be shared to
remote participants.
To stop sharing your screen
with remote participants
press Stop sharing.
Wireless Screen Sharing with Cisco Proximity
On your laptop open the
Cisco Proximity app.
This can be quickly and
easily installed from
Software Center.
Proximity will automatically detect the VC room you are in.
To stop sharing open the Proximity app and select Stop Sharing. Or
Select Share Screen to start wireless screen sharing
use the VC room touch panel Share screen options.
Note: Sharing via Cisco Proximity only works from Rio Tinto and Oyu Tolgoi laptops.
Wireless sharing is ideal for standard presentations however is not optimised for sharing video. If sharing video please connect your laptop using the presentation cable.
