1. Introduction to SAP PM
SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module handles all maintenance activities in an organization. It covers equipment
management, maintenance planning, breakdown handling, and history recording. As an end-user, your role is to enter
daily maintenance data, notifications, and confirm activities.

- IW21 - Create Maintenance Notification
- IW22 - Change Maintenance Notification
- IW28 - Notification List
- IW31 - Create Maintenance Order
- IW32 - Change Maintenance Order
- IW41 - Confirm Maintenance Order

3. Workflow Overview
1. Create Notification (IW21): Used to report an issue with equipment.
2. Planner reviews and converts it into a Maintenance Order (IW31).
3. Technicians execute the maintenance task.
4. Work is confirmed using IW41 after completion.
5. Order is closed and cost is recorded.
4. Equipment Master and Functional Location
- Equipment Master (IE03): Stores technical details of machines like drill, loader, crusher.
- Functional Location (IL03): Represents physical location of machines in plant/mine.
Linking both allows detailed tracking and historical records.

- M1 - Breakdown
