Demonstrative Competence and Abilities Assessment report: Science has been
called the “Endless Frontier”. From the very beginning of my childhood my desire for
gaining knowledge about science has fascinating me to be Civil Engineer. After
completion of the school secondary certificate examination and diploma engineering
I started my 4 (four) years bachelor of science (B.Sc.) at the Faculty of Civil
Engineering Dhaka university of Engineering & technology (DUET) passing year
2008.I had been affiliated with this university for 4 years and I achieved my bachelor
degree in 2008. I am truly passionate about environment, disaster & vulnerability
issues. I always try for using the principal of engineering, geotechnical knowledge
and psychological attitude to create solution to Environmental problem-like
improvements to structural and non-structural risk reduction. I am having over 13+
years of experience in working with multinational teams in the construction and
construction management of sub-station, Cable projects and Multi storied building,
Government Mosque in U.AE. During which, I have gained the knowledge of
managerial techniques with good academic background and professional experience
in civil project management, construction management and, consultancy services.
Comprehensive experience in construction/consultancy activities of 33/11KV Brick
Build, Package unit substation with internal and access roads, 11/0.45KV distribution
sub-station. Moreover, the experience obtained in all technical documents review &
site supervision, Monitoring & control of project activities, Materials inspection and
witnessing & Scope verification and site witnessing. Furthermore, Experienced in
client/suppliers/Contractor/sub-contractors coordination, monitoring & control of
multistoried building’s project activities. Seeking challenging position as a
professional Engineer to obtain managerial position in the area of Civil engineering

My first job begun with an Electro-mechanical company in U.AE. Name was “Shema
Electro mechanical & AC Contracting LLC”, as Site engineer in Construction of
Sheikh Khalifa Houbara Bird breeding Centre, swehan, Abu Dhabi for International
Fund for Houbara Conservation Construction of Sheikh Khalifa Houbara
Management building, swehan, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. for International Fund for Houbara
Conservation, I served the company from January 2011 to May 2012 . Part of project
management team I oversee the construction works. The site works include
construction of one storied with two storied foundation (6m long cast in situ pile
foundation and frame structure). Construction of interior roads, external and internal
water supply and drainage facilities, progress reports the daily activities.
Responsibilities supervise/inspection of levelling, Earthworks, foundation works, pile
and pile caps. Also maintaining records/reports of concrete cube test, Soil FDT test,
Sedimentation test of pile. Dealing with the Client and Consultant to prepared
documents and created Time Schedule and weekly/monthly report of actual
progress, prepare project status report. pg. 1 After that, I worked with “Sahel Al Neel
General Contracting LLC”, since June 2012 to October in 2014 Projects: Sahel Al
Neel General Contracting LLC - Civil Site Engineer Luxures villa & duplex projets,
AL-AIN, U.A.E. Villa G+1 and G+2 projects, AL-AIN, U.A.E. Responsibilities:
Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors
coordinate all non-destructive testing on site. Advice service contract personnel in
taking appropriate corrective & preventive action on NCR. Ensure that all
inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are status.
Coordinates all receipt inspection. Participate in the site internal and external site
audits. To ensure the projects activity on safe condition & minimizes zero accidents.
Commissioning, completion certificate and handing over the project. Extremely
organized, self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously while adhering to
self-imposed deadlines. After that, I worked with “Modern Arabisk Contracting LLC”,
Civil Site Engineer. Since November in 2014 to November in 2015. Modern Arabisk
Contracting LLC, Civil Site Engineer Projects: Sheikh Zayed mosques-al khalfa al
Rasheden mosque mazeyad, AL-AIN, U.A.E. Sheikh Zayed mosques-Tariq bin
sweed al hadramy mosque alwagan, AL- AIN, U.A.E. Responsibilities: Planning,
scheduling and determining work force for the project and coordination with team
members of other disciplines. Attending kick-off, weekly progress and coordination
meeting at site. Project progress evolution and solve the obstruction to meet the
target progress. pg. 2 Submit requests for inspection and coordinating/dealing
consultant. Coordinating with Client, Project Manager, Consultant, Main
Contractor, and other specialist sub-contractors. Administering activities related to
coordination with Architects, Structural and other discipline for fulfilling special
requirements in compliance with Local Authorities regulations and general practice
guidelines. After that, I worked with “Al Urooba Engineering & Contracting LLC, Civil
Engineer”, Civil Site Engineer. Since November in 2015 to February in 2018
Projects: Contract # A-11803 Installation of 33/11/0.45 KV Cables, Equipment’s
and Distribution Transformer in Al Ain Responsibilities: Skill at interfacing with the
main contractor, sub-contractor and others for shop drawings & material submittal
approvals and site co-ordination. Proficient in implementation of quality control
system for civil activities. Follow-up with AADC for civil activities & coordination
for electrical work. Preparing daily progressive report as per site work for AADC civil
engineer. Attending meeting with AADC & sub-contractor. 33kV cable laying
work & LV cable laying work. Coordination, inspection, monitoring of civil part of 11
kV Substation & cabling works. Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare
sang lists and handover to operating authority. Following with municipality for
clearing permit like: excavation permit, tiles removal permit & NDRC permit.
Making civil joint measurement & site visit with AADC engineer for approval civil
works. Currently, I am working with “GOPA International Energy Consultants GmbH
LL - Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.-Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil), Since June in 2018 to till
now. Projects: Contract no.J-1606, Consultancy service for one new 33/11 KV, 15

substation for Al Qudra in ain al fayda. Bawabat Al sharq Development project 22kv
Feeder,22/0.4kv secondary S/s and Normalization contract no.BIDIC-CA-0020
Responsibilities: 20/06/2018 -01/06/2019 Contract no.J-1606, Consultancy service
for one new 33/11 KV, 15 MVA Package unit substation and associated cable works
at Masakin, Al Ain. In addition, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 15
MVA, 33/11kv package unit substation for Al Qudra in ain al fayda. Approved Civil
Engineer (ARE) by M/s. AADC for Contract no.J-1606, Consultancy service for one
new 33/11 KV, 15 MVA Package unit substation and associated cable works at
Masakin, Al Ain & Al Qudra project-33/11kV Pu substation in ain al fayda, Al-Ain.
Supervise, monitor and control contractor’s site construction works to ensure
compliance to contractual and Spec’s requirements. Coordination with project
stakeholder’s client, contractor, authorities and others in order to ensure project
progress and resolve bottlenecks through the weekly /monthly progress meetings
Review and following technical and civil method statement at site.  Review and
provide the progress updates for certification of contractor’s progress
measurements. Receiving WIR/RFI to inspect and ensure that the civil work is
executed according to give specifications, contractual obligations as well as with
strict adherence to safety system. Providing input to raise NCR & SOR to be
issued by the RE as required rectifying the defects works. Witnessing and
controlling the laboratory and other Field test. Ensure contractual compliance
including HSEQ obligations. Attend progress meeting with the client, Contractor,
Project Manager (Employer Representative) to monitor the progress of work
against the approved programs. 01/06/2019-Until now, Contract no.BIDIC-CA-0020
Bawabat Al Sharq Development project 22kv Feeder, 22/0.4kv secondary S/s and
normalization contract. Carry out all civil structural & finishing related work
inspection with contractor for secondary substation. Follow-up with NDRC, DB
including HDD work. pg. 4 Witnessing in situ & laboratory tests, and inspection of
concrete plants and witness concrete trial mixes. Familiar with dewatering & soil
improvement system. Implement and adhere with the QA/QC program, safety
guidelines, and specification during the work activities. Monitor the progress of the
work against the approved contractor programmed of works and advise the
Resident engineer of any issues. Assist the Resident as directed in the review and
forward to the Resident Engineer with any comments all submittals including
contractor design drawings, shop drawings, materials and alternative proposals
submitted by contractors. Implementing site quality assurance for structural and civil
works. Demonstration: I have been in this profession since 2009. After completing
my bachelor degree in Civil Engineer from DUET. As Civil Engineers, I am skilled in
all Civil technical documents review & site supervision, Monitoring & control,
Materials inspection and witnessing & Scope verification and site witnessing for
Electrical substation project activities and able to work in multi storied construction
filed as a project Engineer and working with CAD, ETAB software for Civil 2d
drawing and load calculation. They need to able to predict any possible future
problems and find solutions for them. When problems arise, it is common for people
involved in the project on all levels to look to the engineer for guidance and
resolution. It is important that a Civil Engineer is able to step up to the task and
manage a diverse team of professionals whilst maintaining the confidence of clients.
To evaluate the work of others and ensure their work is in compliance with within any
applicable laws, regulations and standards. To make sure that they work within set
budgets and periods. Civil Engineering-perhaps more so than other Engineering
fields-the ability to communicate effectively is a highly sought after skill. Whether
dealing with Management or a client, Engineers need to be able to clearly
communicate ideas of others in the team. It could be said broadly that the role of
Civil Engineers is applying Engineering principles to develop solutions within the built
environment. More often than not, this requires certain level of creativity. Engineers
need to be able to innovate and improve on solutions. Ability: I demonstrated my
ability in different venues during my professional career. Constriction project
management with 13+ years’ experience including regional projects specifically
related to the building & Electrical Substation, Solar and Infrastructure project.
Managed all technical aspects of highly complex construction project. Quickly solved
problems and made decisions using site data, deisgn goals. Highly develop technical
expertise with full range of engineering and building design software knowledge. The
degree of the assessment can vary depending in the objectives and requirement of
the assessment. Our assessments typically follow the nation publication from BNBC,
ACI, ASCE, IBC “Guideline for structural condition assessments of existing building”.
In most cases, our evaluation process begins with one of our professional pg. 5
engineers performing a visual observation of the structural components of the
building signs of potential issues that could lead to failures. Once the observation is
complete, a report is provided to the client with any safety concerns and
recommendations for repair. Design all building components satisfying the stability,
serviceability and stress requirements simultaneously under design load and load
combination. A performance focused professional able to perform as a construction
engineer or construction manager. Based on my above demonstration and ability I
