Barangay Casacon is the biggest/smallest Barangay in the Municipality/City of Roseller T.
Lim in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay. It is located East of Barangay San Antonio and is
about Six (6) kilometers from the city center. It has a land area of 637.753. It composed of
five (5) puoks namely: Purok Herbal, Purok Waterlily, Purok dahlia, Purok Five Star, and
Purok Doña Aurora
Barangay Casacon is characterized by rolling hills (it depends) and suited for planting Rice,
rubber, banana, and Root Crops. It lies by the sea of Busan Bay. The main source of
livelihood of the people are: Rice, Rubber, Banana. The dialect or language spoken are
Cebuano and Ilonggo
2. Demographic Profile:
Based on the latest Census of Population 2022-2024, Barangay Casacon is populated by
1,117 (number of people) where 570 are male and 547 are female. The table below shows
that children comprise about 21.07 Per cent of the total population. Many of the residents
come from neighboring municipalities and from other provinces.
