Foot Spa Treatment
Foot spa is a relaxing and effective technique that caters with all the demands
of the feet. Primarily, the technique involves soaking of the feet in a foot bath with
warm water and added salt and essential oils, scrubbing, massaging and detoxifying,
cleaning and applying foot lotion and finally applying nail paint to the toe nails. Your
feet are precious; they carry you many miles and help you to maintain your posture.
It is no surprise that they may feel tired, calloused, or swollen by the end of the day.
Give your feet the attention they really deserve by pampering them with a foot spa.
Once you know the basic procedure, you can experiment with special soaks and
scrubs to suit the needs of your feet.
Foot spa can be easily made at home that can be done at least once in two
days for the best appearance and health of your feet and body.

Steps in Giving Foot Spa Treatment
1 . Prepare and use necessary tools and supplies/materials.
2 . Wash feet with warm water and soap before and after scrubbing.
3 . Towel dry feet and apply with appropriate lotion.
(By applying lotion, the removal of the hardened paraffin becomes easier)
4 . Set foot spa machine to regulate heat and achieve required melting of
wax.
5 . Determine and test appropriate temperat
ure for heat tolerance of client.
6. Soak foot for 4 seconds for 3 consecutive times in wax and wrap with plastic liners and boots.
7 . Allow the paraffin to remain in place for 10 to 15 minutes.
8. Remove wax from foot according to manufacturer's instructions.
9 . Apply foot softening product and massage according to prescribed
procedure .
10 . Advise client after service on maintenance program.
11. Confirm with client desired service outcome and to be recorded.
Safety Precautions
1. Take proper care of the tools.
2. Dispose and replace any tool that does not function anymore.
3. Always sterilize the tools every after use to be sure there is no bacteria or fungus growth.
4. Read the instructions carefully how tools should be used to avoid injury.
