SECTION 1 GENERAL
1.1
PURPOSE
This advisory circular (AC) provides a summary of exemptions and deviations that have been
issued by the CAAV to approve alternate methods for compliance with the Vietnam Aviation
Regulations (VARs).

STATUS OF THIS ADVISORY CIRCULAR

1.3
APPLICABILITY
This advisory circular should be consulted by the individuals and organizations subject to the
safety oversight of the CAAV for reference regarding alternate methods for compliance with the
VARs that have been approved.

EXPLANATION OF THIS SUMMARY
A. Each issued exemption or deviation will appear in this advisory circular—
1) As a summary line item in the tables in Section 2 of this AC , under the sub-section for
the specific regulation Part (sorted by regulation section number and subparagh); and
