SKH and SIAC SPA of Italy. The company currently manufactures fully trimmed cabins for JCB
& Caterpillar from its units in Prithla (NCR) and Chakan (Pune). SIAC SKH is the market leader
in cabin manufacturing in India. SIAC SKH, Chakan plant was established in October 2016
with a current production capacity of 5000 cabs per annum.
Job Responsibilities:










Technical review and feasibility study for welding quality requirements.
Preparation & implementation of weld quality plan for projects as per customer
requirements and specification.
Preparation of material matrix and weld matrix.
Preparation of WPS & PQR qualification plan.
Preparation of welder qualification plan and welder qualification as per plan.
Preparation & implementation of WPS, WPQR and WPQ as per AWS D1.1/AWSD1.3
& customer specification.
Conducting new welder interviews, their exams and internal weld test as per welder
selection procedure.
Maintain welder continuity records and revalidation of welders.
Preparation & updating of Weld PDI check sheets.
Distribute quality inspection work among weld inspectors and do their shift planning
to ensure smooth inspection as per weld quality plan.

Ensure daily inspection targets get completed as per production plan.
Preparation of monthly MIS of quality department which includes customer quality
performance, Inhouse Quality Performance and Supplier Quality Performance.

NPD parts and prepare its complete weld analysis report and share to customer and
jointly decide and take improvement actions.
Conducting classroom and on job trainings for welders and weld inspectors as per
training plan and training procedure.
Handling customer complaints by doing root cause analysis and taking corrective
action with 8D methodology.
Conducting weekly quality review meetings with customers.
Set customer DPU reduction targets, take improvement actions, horizontal
deployment of improvement and corrective actions to reduce customer DPU.
Carried out daily critical to quality audit for one sample to ensure process is in
control.
Scheduling and conducting welding process audit and follow up and ensure its
