• Community health education is the process that equips individuals and communities with
knowledge and skills to improve their health behaviour.
• it goes beyond sharing information.
• It empowers people to take control of their health through informed decision making and action.
• b. Discuss concepts and principles of participatory method in community health promotion
• Participatory methods are based on key concepts that ensure the community is actively involved
in learning and planning.
• -Empowerment - Building the community`s ability to act on health issues.
• -Particiption - Everyone is involved not just health workers.
• -Inclusivity - All community voices are heard especially the marginalized.
• -Dialogue - Two-way communication that values local knowledge.
