PLAN, INVESTIGATING AND
RECORDING THE DATA
1.)Place a sheet
beneath the branches
on one side of the tree.
2.)beat the branches
with the stick--but don’t
strike them too hard.
3.)observe and record
the animals that have
fallen onto the sheet
EXAMINING THE RESULTS
When we struck the
branches with the stick only
small animals such as ants,
caterpillars, spiders,
mosquitoes, etc. only fell. But
all the larger animals such as
birds, squirrels etc. ran or
flew away
CONCLUSION
Yes, our conclusion is limited
as there is no specific number
of insects or animals living on
the tree there can be
hundreds of insects or there
could be none. In our
experiment we found in total
of 27 insects fallen on the
sheet.
