From the title itself, i can tell that it’s all about self-love. Loving yourself will have a huge changes in your
decisions, relationships, and desires. And… I experienced that. The podcast relates so much to me. I had
been strong all my life, been standing up for my self, and acted like I can do things on my own. But after
listening to the podcast I realized, there’s actually more than this.
“Note to self” is a concept that lead me in many ways. Like, independently, optimistically, and most of all
lightheartedly. It lead me INDEPENDENTLY, because i know myself better than anyone. Before, i often
neglect other people’s decisions for me because I thought I have the will to act as I am and as who i want
to be, and with that, it led me to the wrong path because i choose not to observe other people, and
choosing not to learn. But that was wrong. Because, I realized I can be independent while having people
around me.
The concept also taught me OPTIMISTICALLY, from the moment i grasp that I am just settling for my daily
routines and just focusing on my own, I realize that there is always a change that I want to achieve. i want
to fill something within my heart, i have this eager to be more and in order to have that is to accept the
love from the people around me. As I listened, I realized how important other people’s acknowledgments
are, how they can help me grow, how they will impact me positively and how it will lead me to have
optimism.
Lastly, it led me LIGHTHEARTEDLY. The concept made me understand to accept every person, lessons, and
experiences to myself wholeheartedly. The podcast made me think that I am not really alone, it’s just my
mind that kept on reminding me to be strong but isn’t it much better to be vulnerable sometimes? To find
someone to lean on, to have someone to be an inspiration and to appreciate every person that will come
into our lives LIGHTHEARTEDLY.
I hope that every person that’s reading my reflection right now would comprehend how important it is to
balance self-love without neglecting every person that’s part of who we are rightnow.

“Note to Self” is a concept that has guided me in many ways. Like, independently, optimistically,
and most of all, lightheartedly. It taught me to live more independently, because i know myself
better than anyone. Before, I used to ignore what other people would tell me because I thought
I always knew what was best for me. I believed I had to stand on my own and prove I could do it
all by myself. But honestly, that only made me feel more lost. I shut myself off from learning and
seeing things through others’ eyes. Now, I see that I can still be independent and strong, but I
don’t have to push people away. I can let them in and I don’t have to carry everything alone.
The concept also taught me to live more optimistically. From the moment i grasp that I am just

that I want to achieve. i want to fill something within my heart, i have this eager to be more and
in order to have that is to accept the love from the people around me. As the podcast went on, I
realized how much other people’s support and acknowledgment matter — they can lift me up
and help me see life in a more positive light.
Lastly, it taught me to live more lightheartedly. I now understand to accept every person, lesson,

I hope that everyone reading my reflection right now understands how important it is to love
yourself while still embracing the people who help shape who you are today. Self-love shouldn’t
close us off — it should help us grow closer to others, too.
