TITI FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
TITI Foundation is a national non-governmental organization (NNGO) formed by a group of south
Sudanese professionals, from varied educational background and experiences. TITI is an
abbreviation of “TOGETHER IN TRANSFORMATIONAL INITIATIVES” promoting progress,
peace and prosperity. The organization is registered (with the South Sudan Relief and
Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRC), registration number 519 under chapter 3, section 10 of the
2013 South Sudan NGO Act We have been active in South Sudan since 2016 and are committed
to the safety and protection of children rights from intentional and unintentional harm. To date,
we continue to offer responses for returnees, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the host
communities in need of assistance to obtain durable solutions, addressing their food security,
livelihood, education, water, hygiene and sanitation, peace building and conflict mitigation and
nutrition needs.

Key Objectives
Provide Scholarships for Advanced Learning
Offer a fully funded seven-month scholarship program running from 2025 to 2026, targeting
South Sudanese students who have:
Successfully completed Senior Four (S4), or
Graduated from university and wish to further their education in a related or
complementary field.
The program aims to support learners in gaining practical, technical, and professional
skills through international exposure and structured learning opportunities.
Promote Employment and Entrepreneurship
Equip participants with job-ready skills and entrepreneurial knowledge that can help them:
Secure meaningful employment upon 6tyfgreturn, or
Start and manage small businesses or social enterprises that contribute to local economic
development.
The program will include mentorship, business planning support, and links to job
markets and startup ecosystems.
Increase Access to Technical and Vocational Education
Break down barriers to education for marginalized and underserved youth, especially those
living in rural areas or displaced by conflict and climate crises.
By offering scholarships and structured training opportunities, the program seeks to bridge the
gap in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), helping youth to become
productive members of society.
Foster Sustainable and Community-Driven Impact
Ensure long-term benefits through:
Capacity-building of local institutions and returnee scholars
Community engagement in skills development and knowledge sharing
Encouraging program alumni to mentor others and initiate local solutions, thus creating a
multiplier effect of the investment.
This approach will help embed the program’s impact within communities and promote
self-reliance and innovation at the grassroots level.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Nationality: Must be a South Sudanese national.
Academic Qualifications:
o Minimum: Senior Four (S4) certificate.
o Maximum: University graduate from a recognized and accredited institution.
o Must have demonstrated strong academic performance with excellent grades.
Language Proficiency:
o Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Age Requirement:
o Must be between 17 and 22 years old at the time of application.
Travel Documentation:
o Must possess valid travel documents (e.g., passport or equivalent legal
identification).
Commitment to Learning:
o Must be willing and able to travel and actively participate in learning programs to
acquire knowledge and skills for future development.
What the Scholarship Offers:
Successful applicants will receive the following benefits:
Fully Funded Package: Includes international travel, meals, training materials, and
accommodation throughout the study period.
High-Quality Education and Training: Access to internationally recognized institutions
offering relevant skills and knowledge.
Study Location: The training and education will take place in Malaysia.
Accommodation: Safe and comfortable housing will be provided for the entire duration of
the program.
Round-Trip Airfare: The scholarship covers travel tickets to and from Malaysia.
