MAY 2013 – MARCH 2019
Started as a Trainee for Teach India, an initiative that enhances the
employability of underprivileged youth by inculcating spoken English
skills. I worked on increasing the number of implementation partners
from 7 to 65. In the 175th year of The Times Group, I started as a
Trainee for the initiative back in May 2013 and gradually moved up to
lead it as a Project Manager.
As a Project Manager, I was responsible for - Project development,
maintenance, and client engagement.
1. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT, and Its MAINTENANCE
❖ As one of the Vertical Heads, I have managed the entire Volunteer
and Brand Management of the initiative, which worked in the
following way:
✓ Strategized, Implemented, and evolved high-impact strategies for
the initiative.
✓ Ran various media campaigns (ATL, BTL, and TTL) to call out and
mobilize Potential personnel.
✓ Maintained official website and company Facebook page to
facilitate interaction with customers/readers.
✓ Contributed to relevant blogs, conferences, and events to increase
brand awareness.
✓ Managed and controlled all the communication at Teach India.
✓ Planned and negotiated media buys, including TV, radio, print, and
digital.
✓ Initiatives resulted in 0% in print advertisements and a 50% rise in
volunteer applications.
❖ Managed Financial Operations of the division for 2 financial years in
the following terms:
✓ Established the Accounts system and documentation process for
the division in its initial phase and implemented it for 110 vendors and
stakeholders.
✓ Owned, developed, and led the implementation of an entire range
of billing system solutions for service providers in an agile
environment and ensured zero- showstoppers via SAP – Vendor
Process.
2. CLIENT MANAGEMENT
✓ Developed contingency plans and alternative solutions for all
projects.
✓ Ideated and managed the new prototype for Volunteer-based setup for the division after analysing the MD’s Pledge at the Global
Citizen Festival, Mumbai, and successfully implemented the same
from December to March 2017.
✓ Collaborated and negotiated with Cube Highways (It is a USD 650
MN platform, backed by World Bank (IFC) and I Squared Capital) and
the Government of India - Smart Village, Andhra Pradesh Project,
which is a project implemented in India by U. C Berkley.
✓ Owned and implemented the various sister projects of the initiative
like the Indian Army chapter and the Tihar Prison Chapter.

ESL TEACHER, BRITISH COUNCIL & BCCL
MARCH 2013 – JUNE 2013
Completed 56-hour ESL training conducted by the British Council in
Delhi. The training program involved English language teaching
techniques and methods for qualitative and quantitative assessment of
written work, creating lesson plans, guidance, and counselling for
students.
• Taught the course ‘English for Employability,’ leading a class batch of
25 students each. The teaching level was A1 in spoken English. Some of
the areas covered were basic interpersonal introductions, increasing
vocabulary related to jobs and industries, training speech and language
skills, and developing personality and presentation style for a
professional meeting. I also aided the students with job searches,
producing CVs, letters, application forms, and so on.
