SELF - ASSESSMENT
STEM-12
Throughout my work immersion at the , I gained valuable knowledge and experiences
that will help me in the future. I learned the importance of responsibility, patience, and teamwork
in the workplace. Every task, whether encoding forms, assisting job seekers, or delivering
documents, contributed to a bigger goal of helping people find job opportunities. I also realized
that being organized and accurate in handling records is crucial because a small mistake can
cause delays or confusion for job seekers.
One of the most important lessons I learned is the value of proper workplace manners.
Showing respect to colleagues, arriving on time, taking the initiative to clean and organize, and
communicating clearly are all essential in maintaining a positive work environment. I also
discovered the importance of adaptability—some days were fast-paced and busy, while others
were slow, but staying prepared and engaged was necessary. Another key lesson was the
importance of good communication skills, especially when interacting with job seekers and
professionals. Whether giving instructions, assisting applicants, or even speaking in English with
a recruiter, I learned that confidence and clarity matter.
These lessons will be useful in my future career, especially in dealing with different
kinds of people. No matter what profession I choose, teamwork, patience, and professionalism
will always be important. I also now understand how small tasks contribute to the bigger system,
and I will apply this mindset to future responsibilities. Most importantly, I will carry with me the
lesson that no work is too small or unimportant—every role has value.
