Presentation 1 (5%)
Topic: The Psychology Behind Goal Setting
Students are required to present a real-life or fictional case study (e.g., a student,
athlete, entrepreneur, or artist) pursuing a meaningful goal. Show how the FOUR
strategies (Own your goal, make it fun, remember the big picture, keep a balance),
given bySheldon, Kasser, Smith, & Share (2002), can help the individual achieve
the goal. Frame their goal using the SMART format.
Each student will be allotted 15 minutes for their presentation. Ensure that your
content fits within this time frame.
*Students are required to present on time.
*Marks will be deducted if students are not present on time.

Presentation 2 (5%)
Topic: Redesign daily routines using Positive Psychology concepts to make normal life
more fulfilling
The presentation aims to reimagine daily life using positive psychology concepts
(flow, mindfulness, leisure, and peak performance). Students are required to
briefly introduce the concepts, present an example of a current weekly routine (e.g.
what a typical week looks like) of any real or fictional individual, and
demonstrate how this routine can be redesigned to become more fulfilling by
applying the aforementioned concepts.
