Conduct of “LAB for All” Caravan in New Lucena, Iloilo
Background/Rationale
The “Lab for All” event in the Philippines spearheaded by First Lady, Louise AranetaMarcos, has evolved into a significant and regular initiative that seeks to provide essential
government assistance to communities nationwide. This coming April 29, 2025 a “Lab for
All” event will be conducted at the Public Plaza of New Lucena, Iloilo.
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) plays a vital role
in workforce development through technical education and skills training. In line with its
mission, TESDA Region VI will provide support and assistance during this event. TESDA
training institutions and private TVIs will showcase skills demonstrations and product
displays. The PTC-Iloilo as the only TESDA Technology Institution in Region VI with
registered program in Barista NC II was tasked to conduct skills demonstration in the said
qualification.
