Instructions for use
1- Tool adjusting
Read attentively cable preparation instructions.
Indicate the semi-conductor left length with the
button (1) and the small ruler (2).

For the LHM1R30/40 tool, turn over the fixed
part to obtain the remaining size of 30 or 40mm
Prepare and straighten the cable out.
Apply a little quantity of silicone on the semiconductor to facilitate the tool whirling.

2- Peelable semi-conductor removal
Fit the LHM1R 30/45E tool onto the semi-conductor
tighten knurled nut (3) to the maximum position.
Then give knurled nut a quarter turn in the
opposite side.
Rotate the LHM1R 30/45E tool in the direction of
the arrow (4) to make an incision in the semi-conductor
until the back of the tool leans against the cable jacket.
Unscrew knurled nut (3) and remove the tool.

The tools must be used when the cable is out of tension by skilled workers who are competent in
cable preparation and know about electrical phenomenons.
Wearing anti-cut gloves is obligatory.
Clean the tools after each utilization.
