(Show Design- Music Selection,effective use of stage and performance
area,outfit and style)
Entertainment value-the audience’s and judges reaction to the overall
performance)

MODERN DANCE
Mechanics/Guidelines:
 Each group shall be composed of a minimum of 5 dancers up to a maximum of 10
dancers. Members of the groups may be composed of all males or females, or any
combination thereof.
 Groups must bring the music of their choice. It should be submitted 1 day prior to the
event (Oct. 17, 2024). There should be a back-up copy in case the submitted music fails
to play.
 Music should be wholesome and lively and must not contain any subliminal, sexually
suggestive, and vulgar lyrics/ language.
 Judges decision is final and irrevocable.

(Staging, spacing formations, executions, showmanship,projection
stabilization and variety of Dance routines, Entertainment value
and crowd appeal)
Choreography and Originality
(Dance arrangements and concept,incorporating unique and
original/creative moves)
