English, Maths, Spelling & Reading
Please remember all homework is to be completed in your homework book. Ensure your
parents sign and date the homework once completed. If you do not understand anything
please ask me during the week, don’t leave it all to the last minute. Reading is required
every night, read to members of your family, big or small as well as to yourself. Get an adult
to ask you questions about what you are reading. Remember to sign in your logbook when
you have read as I will be checking!!! You need to read to get your Astronaut to move!

the words, that you did not complete in class, in your homework book.

❖ This week we are looking at adding verb prefixes de- and re-.
❖ Complete the spelling activity in your homework book.
❖ Please complete the handwriting in your homework book. I have included the
cursive handwriting sheet as a guide for how the word should look.
❖ Learn to spell the five words given from the year 3/4 Statutory spelling list. Make
sure you know the meanings; you may have to use a dictionary to look them up.
Reading:
❖ You must read for a MINIMUM of 20 mins at least 5 times in the week. Remember
to have a parent sign in your logbook every time you read.
