Sr ROZNITA OTHMAN is a seasoned professional renowned for her exemplary
contributions to enhancing organisational performance through the strategic
implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) practices. With over three decades of
experience as a professional Quantity Surveyor (QS) at the Public Works Department (PWD)
Malaysia, she has played a pivotal role in cultivating a robust knowledge base to empower
technical professionals within the department.
Beyond her role in PWD Malaysia, Sr Roznita's expertise as a KM practitioner and thought
leader has gained widespread recognition. She has been a sought-after resource person,
advising organisations on effective KM strategies and practices. Notably, she was invited by
the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) to
contribute to workshops for developing the KM blueprint and CoP Guide for the Public
Sector.
Sr Roznita's influence extends globally, as evidenced by her participation in conferences
both locally and internationally. Her impactful contributions to the field are showcased in
"The Knowledge Manager’s Handbook" (second edition), where she authored a chapter on
"Implementing and Sustaining KM in PWD Malaysia," published in 2020. She was invited as
a speaker for the opening keynote “How to Survive in Knowledge Management” of the IKO
conference in 2023.
In addition to being a Certified Knowledge Manager, she is also certified as a Professional
