Final Assignment: Article Review
◦ You need to find a journal article related to language learning & teaching issues, preferably on reading,
in the target language.
◦ You will read and do a critical review on the text.
◦ This review should cover introduction (brief summary of contents), the review or critique (strengths
and weaknesses) and conclusion (personal point of view on the article).
◦ The article must appear in a scholarly journal or book.
◦ You can use COMU library resources to learn more about these types of work and how to locate
appropriate sources.
◦ The review will be written in 12 font size of Times New Roman style, double space, APA 7th Edition.
IMPORTANT!!!!
◦ Turn on MS Word’s Grammar/Spelling Check
◦ Set English (USA/UK) as the default language of the file
◦ Be careful about the use of grammar/spelling
◦ Pay attention to meaning (be careful about ambiguous sentences)
Requirements
◦ Must be between 500-700 words
◦ The article must be published after 2020.
◦ Try to choose more theoretical articles, less research-based.
◦ You are going to submit your assignment to UBYS. A link to the assignment will be provided by the
course lecturer.
